Job Summary
Trellix is seeking a Total Rewards (Compensation & Benefits) Lead for the EMEA region. This role involves comprehensive responsibility for compensation and benefits programs, reporting to the Director of Global Benefits and VP of Total Reward. Key duties include administering regional benefits like medical, dental, and retirement plans, ensuring compliance with local laws, and managing employee communications. The manager will also review and recommend salary adjustments, educate HR on compensation philosophy, and support process improvements. This position requires strong analytical, communication, and HRIS skills to manage complex issues and vendor relationships effectively.
Must Have
- Overall responsibility for EMEA region compensation & benefits
- Administer and communicate benefits program in the region
- Implement and administer compensation plans, policies and programs
- Ensure company benefit plans follow country or local laws
- Provide high level of customer service when troubleshooting and engaging with employees
- Partner with Human Resources team and other stakeholder departments on compensation and benefit issues
- Administer regional benefits programs (Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life Insurance, other benefit plans or accounts, commuter benefits and retirement plans)
- Be the main contact for benefit administration activities to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Stay up-to-date with broader market benefit trends and make recommendations
- Be the primary contact for benefit issues such as plan provisions, policy interpretation, procedures, coverage, enrollment eligibility, family status changes, claims, claims appeals procedures, and other benefit matters
- Help with online benefits administration and employee self-service sites
- Review proposed salary adjustments
- Review and make global salary range increase recommendations by country/region
- Work with HRBPs and managers on compensation related inquiries
- Responsible for educating HR and the broader employee base on the company's compensation philosophy
- Support HR/TR Transformation by identifying and making recommendations on process improvement/simplification
- Recommend corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related problems
- Audit and process monthly vendor billing
- Administer retirement/pension plans so they are compliant with local laws; communicate with payroll team
- Perform periodic audits to verify integrity of data in the Benefits system
- Manage a repository of benefit policies, plan documents, forms, and carrier information
- Be a primary contact with benefit vendors and brokers regarding ongoing plan administration
- Coordinate the preparation and distribution of employee communications
- Maintain the employee benefit files in accordance with internal policies and procedures
- Establish familiarity with provisions of existing and new country laws to help determine impact on benefit plans and ensure compliance
- Evaluate and advise on internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency
- Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefit processes
- Monitor Benefits System to ensure changes are sent to vendors and file feeds are correct
- Manage wellness events and research new practices and trends
- Manage all leaves and time off plans, processes and payments

Job Description
Role Overview:
The Total Rewards (Compensation & Benefits) Lead, EMEA will have overall responsibility for the EMEA region compensation & benefits. The role reports to the Director of Global Benefits and Vice President of Total Reward. The role will administer and communicate our benefits program in the region regarding plan options, policy features, enrollment and other requirements. It will perform activities to implement and administer compensation plans, policies and programs (e.g. merit program, annual incentive plan, annual compensation range review, participation in salary surveys, auditing of compensation data, etc.). Ensuring company benefit plans follow country or other local jurisdictions laws will be a part of the role. The role requires a high level of customer service when troubleshooting and engaging with employees. The role will partner with the Human Resources team and other stakeholder departments on compensation and benefit issues.
About the Role:
- Administer regional benefits programs, which include; Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life Insurance, other benefit plans or accounts, commuter benefits and retirement plans.
- Be the main contact for benefit administration activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws, policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with broader market benefit trends and make recommendations for benefit offering changes to the Benefits leader.
- Be the primary contact for several benefit issues such as plan provisions, policy interpretation, procedures, coverage, enrollment eligibility, family status changes, claims, claims appeals procedures, and other benefit matters.
- Help with online benefits administration and employee self-service sites. Assume primary responsibility for ongoing use of the site’s features and procedures including eligibility management, enrollment management, billing, reporting, and maintenance.
- Review proposed salary adjustments (e.g. merit/promotional increases, market adjustments)
- Review and make global salary range increase recommendations by country/region
- Work with HRBPs and managers on compensation related inquiries
- Responsible for educating HR and the broader employee base on the company's compensation philosophy
- Support HR/TR Transformation by identifying and making recommendations on process improvement/simplification
- Recommend corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related problems
- May lead new projects/initiatives or represent the Total Rewards function in cross-functional or inter-company projects
- Audit and process monthly vendor billing.
- Administer retirement/pension plans so they are compliant with local laws; communicate with payroll team on a regular basis. Manage all related communications.
- Perform periodic audits to verify integrity of data in the Benefits system to match data stored in the People Tools system.
- Manage a repository of benefit policies, plan documents, forms, and carrier information.
- Be a primary contact with benefit vendors and brokers regarding ongoing plan administration. Ensure that vendor processes are in place and working properly.
- Coordinate the preparation and distribution of employee communications.
- Maintain the employee benefit files in accordance with internal policies and procedures and with appropriate requirements
- Establish familiarity with provisions of existing and new country laws to help determine impact on benefit plans and ensure compliance.
- Evaluate and advise on internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefit processes.

- Manage wellness events and research new practices and trends in employee benefits and wellness.

About You:
- Proven professional experience in Benefits and Compensation administration and managing and resolving complex issues.
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience in employee compensation
- Knowledge of all local regulations and compliance requirements as they apply to base compensation and incentive compensation programs
- Broad, practical knowledge of Compensation and HRIS techniques and methods
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and statistics associated with compensation tasks
- Significant attention to detail in the maintenance of spreadsheets, databases and communications
- Strong business acumen and ability to respond to request for information in a courteous manner
- Excellent organization and time management skills to manage competing priorities
- Strong data analysis skills; the ability to extract and summarize data to make data-backed business decisions
- Proficient in HRIS tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Effective interpersonal skills necessary to advise, counsel, recommend and approve actions on a variety of benefits issues
