This role involves the development and application of engineering practice and knowledge in defining, configuring, and deploying industrial digital technologies. This includes but is not limited to PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) for managing the continuity of information across the engineering enterprise. This covers areas like design, industrialization, manufacturing, and supply chain, as well as managing manufacturing data. The role also involves being fully competent in your area and acting as a key contributor in a complex critical environment. The individual will proactively anticipate client needs, manage costs and profitability, and manage their own agenda to meet targets. The person will also develop plans for projects in their area, look beyond immediate problems, and act as a facilitator and coach to move teams forward.
