Digital Designer

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking for a Digital Designer for a hybrid opportunity. This is a full-time role requiring 40-hour work weeks, with 2-3 days onsite and the remaining days remote.

In this role, you’ll join a lean, fast-moving team to create compelling print and digital designs, contribute to brand and UX projects, and build responsive HTML emails. Your creativity, independence, and attention to detail will directly shape the brand’s visual and digital presence.

Digital Designer Responsibilities:

• Design compelling visual assets across print and digital platforms (web, social, email, ads, collateral).
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to craft intuitive, on-brand user experiences.
• Build and test HTML emails in responsive formats across devices and platforms.
• Translate complex ideas into clean, engaging visuals that communicate clearly and effectively.
• Manage multiple projects from concept to final delivery under tight timelines.
• Contribute to design systems, brand guidelines, and user interface components.

Digital Designer Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional design experience in both print and digital formats.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX work, branding, and multi-platform design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD) and Figma.
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email development (ESP experience a plus).
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter attitude with the ability to thrive in a lean, fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot) (preferred).
• Basic motion graphics or video editing skills (preferred).
• Familiarity with web accessibility and best practices in email UX (preferred).
