The Sales area focuses on generating revenue and increasing market share by identifying and satisfying customer needs. This involves developing sales strategies, building customer relationships, presenting products or services, and closing commercial deals to achieve sales goals and objectives.
About You:
Connect product development with market success. Understand customer needs and trends, ensuring products are built with a clear market fit. Responsible for leading and defining the positioning and key message, as well as the go-to-market strategy for digital products, and fostering adoption and engagement. Act as a strategic bridge that translates technological innovation into commercial success and revenue generation.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Define the go-to-market strategy for ViX and the TelevisaUnivision digital ecosystem, leading the product, strategy & insights, and measurement teams.
- Lead market research to identify opportunities, video consumption trends, and gaps in the AVOD market.
- Direct and supervise the product team to define and execute the product roadmap, ensuring new functionalities and content are developed with a clear market vision and monetization potential.
- Develop the unique value proposition of the AVOD platform and its premium content.
- Create the narrative and key messages that resonate with consumer audiences and, crucially, with advertisers (highlighting the value of advertising inventory).
- Ensure brand and message consistency across all touchpoints.
- Create sales materials and tools for the advertising sales team, highlighting the value of the platform's audience, segmentation capabilities, and available ad formats (e.g., in-stream, shoppable ads).
- Train the sales team on new product offerings and value narratives for advertisers.
- Directly supervise the measurement and strategy & insights teams to ensure the advertising value proposition is measurable and attractive, providing the necessary data and analysis for the sales and ad operations teams.
- Work with the programmatic monetization team to understand demand and supply dynamics.
- Identify opportunities to create new ad packages or formats that maximize inventory yield.
- Analyze advertising campaign performance and provide insights for continuous optimization.
- Monitor platform and content performance in the market, using audience and monetization data.
- Identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities throughout the AVOD product lifecycle.
- Ensure the marketing strategy adapts as the platform evolves.
- Define the go-to-market strategy for ViX and the TelevisaUnivision digital ecosystem, leading the product, strategy & insights, and measurement teams.
- Foster a data-driven culture and talent development: actively promote the use of data and insights in decision-making at all levels of the product, measurement, and strategy & insights teams.
- Identify training and professional development needs for your team, ensuring they have the most advanced skills in analysis, modeling, and product management.
You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in areas such as marketing, business administration, industrial engineering, computer science, economics, or related fields.
- Advanced English.
- Display/search advertising, campaign optimization, analytics platforms, client management and business development, sales and advertising agencies, definition and execution of digital product and adtech roadmap, development of go-to-market narratives, demand-side and supply-side platforms (DSPs, SSPs), ad servers, data management platforms (DMPs) and customer data platforms (CDPs), data analysis and visualization tools to interpret complex insights, measure product and campaign performance, and demonstrate ROI to advertisers, understanding of market trends (e.g., privacy-first) and development of innovative ad formats (e.g., shoppable ads, interactive CTV).
- Leadership and team management. Strategic and business thinking.
- Data and analytics: strong ability to interpret complex data, generate actionable insights, and foster a data-driven culture in your team.
- Communication and influence: excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adtech/Martech knowledge: deep understanding of the advertising technology and marketing ecosystem.
