TelevisaUnivision is seeking a Strategy and Insights Lead for the Sales area. This role involves transforming large volumes of data into strategic and actionable insights to drive business, product, and marketing decisions for the AVOD platform and the digital ecosystem. The lead will develop analytical capabilities, supervise Analytical Leads, and foster a data-driven culture, creating strategic narratives for Go-to-Market.
Must have:
  • Develop Data and Analysis Strategy to answer critical business questions.
  • Lead research and analysis of complex data (user behavior, content performance, ad monetization).
  • Translate insights into clear, actionable strategic recommendations for GTM.
  • Actively monitor competitive landscape, streaming, and AdTech industry trends.
  • Identify threats, opportunities, and anticipate consumer behavior changes.
  • Present complex findings clearly and persuasively to executive audiences.
  • Influence strategic decisions through effective insight communication.
  • Create compelling data-driven narratives for seasonalities, industry viewpoints, and CTV evolution.
  • Integrate narratives directly with product's Go-to-Market strategy.
  • Act as key contact for clients, providing deep industry analysis and strategic perspectives.
  • Develop Case Studies and Success Stories demonstrating ROI and impact.
  • Proactively identify sales and growth opportunities for clients.

TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Strategy and Insights Lead for the Sales area.

The Sales area focuses on generating revenue and increasing market share by identifying and satisfying customer needs. This involves developing sales strategies, building customer relationships, presenting products or services, and closing commercial agreements to achieve sales goals and objectives.

About you:

Transform large volumes of data into strategic and actionable insights that drive business, product, and marketing decisions for the AVOD platform and the TU digital ecosystem. This role is responsible for leading and developing the team's analytical capabilities, supervising Analytical Leads, to ensure the company deeply understands its audience, optimizes advertising monetization, and maintains a competitive advantage in the digital market. It is the fundamental pillar for fostering a data-driven culture within the organization, and responsible for developing strategic narratives for seasonalities, industry viewpoints, and the evolution of CTV, for a powerful and integrated Go-to-Market with the Product team.

Your day to day:

  • Development of Data and Analysis Strategy identifying the most critical business questions that data can answer and how to structure analyses to obtain those answers.
  • Lead the research and analysis of complex data (user behavior, content performance, advertising monetization, market trends) to discover deep and non-obvious insights.
  • Translate these insights into clear and actionable strategic recommendations for a GTM focused on solving clients' business needs.
  • Actively monitor the competitive landscape, streaming and AdTech industry trends, and innovations in data analysis.
  • Identify threats and opportunities for the business, and anticipate changes in consumer behavior.
  • Present complex findings clearly, concisely, and persuasively to executive and non-technical audiences, using data storytelling skills.
  • Influence strategic decisions through effective communication of insights.
  • Create and articulate compelling data-driven narratives about seasonalities (seasonal consumption and advertising trends), specific industry viewpoints, and the evolution of the CTV landscape.
  • Ensure these narratives are directly integrated with the product's Go-to-Market strategy to enhance the message to clients and agencies.
  • Be the key point of contact to help clients solve their big business questions, bringing deep industry analysis, benchmarks, and data-driven strategic perspectives, acting as a trusted consultant.
  • Development of Case Studies and Success Stories: Create documentation and presentations that demonstrate the ROI and impact of campaigns or strategies implemented with clients, using data and insights to build compelling success stories.
  • Identification of Sales and Growth Opportunities for Clients: Proactively identify how insights and platform capabilities can help clients achieve their own business objectives, generating new sales opportunities for the commercial team.

You should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Marketing with a strong analytical component.
  • Advanced English.
  • Solid and proven experience in data analysis and Business Intelligence, preferably in the digital media, streaming (AVOD/SVOD) or AdTech industry.
  • Demonstrated track record in generating actionable insights that have driven business decisions and revenue growth.
  • Strong knowledge of digital advertising monetization, including programmatic models, audience segmentation, and attribution.
  • Experience in leading or supervising analytical or Business Intelligence teams.
  • Familiarity with data management platforms (DMPs/CDPs) and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, AppsFlyer).
  • Knowledge of market research methodologies and competitive analysis.
  • Experience in developing strategic narratives and industry viewpoints based on data.
  • Experience in client consulting or strategic advisory roles, with a focus on business analysis.
