ZEILT productions, an Oscar-winning animation studio in Luxembourg, is seeking new or experienced directors to join their pool for upcoming feature films, series, and short films. The role involves embodying the artistic and narrative vision of projects, leading teams, preparing artistic documents, supervising production stages, and collaborating closely with the production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic vision, leadership skills, and proficiency in French and English.

Good To Have:

Confirmed experience in animation film directing.
Proficiency in Luxembourgish.

Must Have:

Develop a clear and coherent artistic vision from the existing script.
Lead team meetings and ensure visual and narrative consistency.
Prepare necessary artistic documents (statement of intent, technical breakdown, moodboard).
Work with the production office for project management (budget, schedule, logistics).
Supervise key production stages.
Collaborate closely with the producer, artistic director, and supervisors.
Validate artistic and technical choices throughout production.
Participate in image editing, sound design, and color grading in post-production.
Represent the film to partners, broadcasters, and festivals.
Possess a strong artistic vision and ability to collaborate with teams.
Be comfortable directing actors (for motion capture projects) and communicating with technical teams.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills and leadership.
Be proficient in French and have a good understanding of English.

ZEILT productions is a production company created in 2007 by Laurent Witz, winner of the Oscar for Best Animated Short Film with "Mr Hublot". Located in Luxembourg, this company specializes in the production of 3D animation programs for cinema, television, the Internet, mobile telephony and video games. Its ambition is to produce innovative, entertaining and enriching programs, drawing on national and European know-how and creativity.

As part of its development, ZEILT productions offers new director talents or experienced directors the opportunity to join ZEILT's pool of directors for our upcoming feature film, series and short film projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for embodying the artistic and narrative vision of the entrusted project, in close collaboration with the rest of the team.

Missions:

Develop a clear and coherent artistic vision from the existing script
Lead team meetings and ensure visual and narrative consistency

Candidate Profile:

Confirmed experience in animation film directing is an asset
Strong artistic vision and ability to collaborate with teams.

Strong organizational skills and leadership
