We are seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking Director of Infrastructure Delivery to lead our global infrastructure design teams. This role is pivotal to our global transformation journey — shifting from traditional infrastructure management toward a modern, DevOps-centric, cloud-native delivery model. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of both legacy and emerging infrastructure platforms, combined with proven leadership in managing globally distributed teams. This individual will be responsible for delivering reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure services while modernizing operations to support product engineering, platform automation, Operational SRE and business agility.
Must have:
  • Lead and mentor global infrastructure teams.
  • Drive alignment with global IT strategy focused on automation, scalability, and cloud native architecture.
  • Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of on-premises and cloud-hosted infrastructure platforms.
  • Own and improve SLAs and KPIs for infrastructure design, deployment, and management.
  • Champion operational SRE, compliance (SOX/PCI), and security best practices.
  • Lead transformation from legacy to modern infrastructure (serverless, containers, SaaS/PaaS).
  • Support DevOps toolchain integration and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption using Terraform, Ansible AWX, AWS CloudFormation.
  • Foster a high-performing, continuously learning team culture.
  • Manage workload balancing, shift planning, and cross-geographical collaboration.
  • Experience in installation, configuration, maintenance, design, deployment, monitoring, development, upgrade, and support of on-premise and cloud infrastructure by automation.
  • 15+ years in IT infrastructure operations, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
  • 5+ years in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience with traditional data center infrastructure (storage, compute, network, backup, monitoring).
  • Experience implementing container strategies (Kubernetes, Docker, EKS, ECS, GKS).
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
  • Proven track record of leading modernization initiatives including DevOps support, automation, SRE facilitation.
  • Experience managing compliance frameworks (SOX, PCI, ISO) and high-security environments.
  • Experience with Agile Development Practices (SDLC / Agile / Scrum).
  • Strong communication, people management, stakeholder engagement, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability and willingness to be hands-on when needed.
  • Experience developing and updating business continuity and disaster recovery protocols.
  • Knowledge of emerging infrastructure technologies.
  • Hands-on experience debugging problems within the full stack.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking Director of Infrastructure Delivery to lead our global infrastructure design teams. This role is pivotal to our global transformation journey — shifting from traditional infrastructure management toward a modern, DevOps-centric, cloud-native delivery model. Understanding flows of Data Center to Cloud and Data Center to Data Center Migrations is a plus.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of both legacy and emerging infrastructure platforms, combined with proven leadership in managing globally distributed teams. This individual will be responsible for delivering reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure services while modernizing operations to support product engineering, platform automation, Operational SRE and business agility.

Participates in ongoing integrated project activities including feasibility studies, scope, timeline, task list, and workflow of projects. Designs, implements, and performs designated tasks from the product sprints requiring extended services that includes design, working solutions on infrastructure solutioning, provisioning and orchestration. Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around integrated implementation projects and having deep expertise in the Cloud and On-prem technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure leads, engineers and service owners across global teams.
  • Drive alignment with global IT strategy focused on automation, scalability, and cloud native architecture.
  • Represent infrastructure delivery in global planning and governance forums.
  • Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of on-premises and cloud-hosted infrastructure platforms.
  • Own and improve SLAs and KPIs regarding design, deployment, transition to manage, decommission, incident response, problem management, and change control processes.
  • Champion operational (SRE) enablement, compliance (including SOX/PCI), and security best practices.
  • Lead the transformation from legacy systems (e.g., traditional VMs, storage, monitoring) to modern infrastructure (e.g., serverless, container platforms, SaaS/PaaS).
  • Support DevOps toolchain integration and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption by developing and maintaining IaC templates and scripts using tools such as Terraform, Ansible AWX, AWS CloudFormation to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources to ensure consistency and repeatability.
  • Foster a high-performing, engaged, and continuously learning team culture by guiding skill development and succession planning aligned with modern infrastructure capabilities.
  • Manage workload balancing, shift planning, and collaboration across geographies.
  • Working experience of installation, configuration and maintenance, design, deployment, monitoring, develop, upgrade and support of on premise and cloud infrastructure by automation.
  • Day-to-day management and continued evolution of STS infrastructure and design capabilities. Collaborates with fellow IT leaders to create an environment where knowledge and insights can be used and exchanged.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure operations, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing global or regional teams.
  • 5+ year experience working within a public cloud environment. Must have a good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Must have experience with traditional data center infrastructure (storage, compute, network, backup, monitoring).
  • Previous experience implementing container strategies, i.e. Kubernetes, Docker, EKS, ECS, GKS.
  • Hands-on familiarity with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
  • Proven track record of leading modernization initiatives, including DevOps support, automation including CI/CD/CM, SRE facilitation and tool rationalization.
  • Experience managing compliance frameworks (SOX, PCI, ISO) and high-security environments. Configuring and supporting the implementation & maintenance security tools.
  • Previous experience working with Agile Development Practices (SDLC / Agile / Scrum methodologies).
  • Good communication, people management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability and willingness to be hands-on when needed.
  • Developing and updating business continuity and disaster recovery protocols.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software) and the standard methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience using the tools and techniques to debug problems within the full stack.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure Architect, ITIL, PMP) are a plus.
