Job Description

The Director of Digital Product Strategy is a hybrid leader — part Product Manager, part project Leader, part Growth Hacker — who ensures that every touchpoint in the customer journey aligns with business goals and drives measurable growth. This individual sits at the intersection of Product, Marketing, Data, Content, and Tech, owning the end-to-end growth roadmap and ensuring all teams move in sync toward key business KPIs. You will lead product strategy, engaging with stakeholders to develop a product that meets business goals. You will oversee initiatives affecting awareness, acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization, optimizing growth from top to bottom. This role requires strategic thinking, knowledge of streaming products in Latin America, excellent negotiation, communication skills, operational rigor, and understanding of competitive market success factors.
Must have:
  • Lead product strategy, engaging with stakeholders to develop solutions that balance their needs with market and partner expectations to meet business objectives.
  • Define and execute the product growth strategy for Sony One, FAST and other Digital Businesses in coordination with Marketing, Editorial, and Data teams.
  • Coordinate with technical and operations teams to launch features on time and within scope.
  • Own the growth roadmap, prioritizing high-impact initiatives that align with subscriber acquisition, activation, and retention goals.
  • Lead the coordination of cross-functional workflows (e.g., content promotion cycles, avails management, campaign approvals) to ensure operational alignment and on-time delivery.
  • Identify and implement growth experiments, A/B tests, and funnel improvements to reduce CPA and improve conversion rates.
  • Partner with external distribution partners (e.g., MVPD’s, fintechs, telcos) to ensure product integrations and marketing activations support overall growth goals.
  • Monitor performance dashboards and translate insights into strategic actions that inform product and marketing decisions to stakeholders.
  • Strong product and project management skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Agile methodology applied to managing large projects.
  • Able to prioritize feature requests based on a broad strategy and goals.
  • Experience developing data strategies for audience and engagement growth.
  • Solid understanding of web and mobile technology; 7+ years of experience involving product development and production.
  • Competent in leading and managing teams, projects, including complex, dynamic web sites, touch screen, mobile and tablet functionality.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and keep a project on track.
  • Must be detail oriented, quality driven, straightforward, self-motivated, and proactive.
  • Experience mentoring other team members.
  • Self-starter who is able to work independently and communicate back to peers, and the team.
  • Must be a team player and manage tight deadlines professionally.
  • Technical knowledge involving project development tools such as Drupal, JIRA, analytics tools, video CMS.
  • 4+ years of education required.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 7 or more years work experience within the digital industry working directly on one or more of the following: Streaming, Messaging, Web, Social Video, Mobile or OTT.
  • 7 or more years work experience within digital streaming/media.
  • Must maintain an entrepreneurial mindset.
Good to have:
  • Keen interest in digital pop culture, TV, Film, and emerging technologies.
  • An enthusiastic user of new technologies, i.e., an early adopter.
  • Knowledge of English and Spanish language and Portuguese a plus.
  • Experience with content creation is a plus.

You will lead product strategy, engaging with stakeholders to develop a product that meets business goals. You will oversee initiatives affecting awareness, acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization, optimizing growth from top to bottom. Core Responsibilities:
