Job Description

The Director of Operational Excellence & Performance will lead efforts to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across the operations function. Reporting to the COO, this role involves comprehensive oversight of performance monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. The individual will track key operational metrics, lead cross-functional projects, and ensure alignment with business objectives. This role fosters collaboration across departments like Customer Service, Responsible Gaming, Risk & Fraud Prevention, and AML, aiming to streamline processes, simplify workflows, and scale operations while improving customer experience.
Must have:
  • Oversee weekly and monthly operational reports.
  • Monitor daily operational KPI reports.
  • Coordinate with department Directors on KPIs and action plans.
  • Lead cross-functional projects for process improvement and scalability.
  • Manage the project management operations team.
  • Oversee implementation of company-wide projects impacting operations.
  • Develop and maintain operational roadmaps.
  • Prioritize operations-related development requests.
  • Facilitate alignment and integration across operational departments.
  • Provide oversight and insights into operational performance.
  • Support strategic decision-making with data-driven analysis.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Director of Operational Excellence & Performance will play a critical leadership role in driving operational efficiency and effectiveness across the operations function. Reporting to the COO, this role is responsible for providing comprehensive oversight of performance monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. By tracking key operational metrics and leading cross-functional projects, this individual ensures alignment of operational activities with overall business objectives and fosters collaboration across multiple departments including Customer Service, Responsible Gaming, Risk & Fraud Prevention, and AML.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker and effective communicator, skilled at uniting diverse operational teams to streamline processes, simplify workflows, and scale operations while enhancing the overall customer experience.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Operational Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Oversee the delivery of weekly and monthly operational reports, providing clear insights into performance metrics and trends.
  • Monitor daily operational KPI reports to ensure real-time visibility of performance and prompt identification of issues.
  • Coordinate and synchronize with respective department Directors to track and analyze key KPIs and action plans (APs), identifying areas for improvement and ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization
  • Lead cross-functional projects focused on process improvement, simplification, and scalability to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Together with the rest of the team, help drive initiatives that improve customer experience through more streamlined and effective operational workflows.
  • Project Management & Implementation
  • Manage the project management operations team, ensuring effective coordination and execution of projects within the operations function.
  • Oversee the implementation and follow-up of company-wide projects impacting operations, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Operational Roadmaps & Development Prioritization
  • Develop and maintain operational roadmaps in coordination with all departments within the operations function to ensure aligned and strategic delivery of key initiatives.
  • Prioritize all operations-related development requests submitted to the product and technology teams, balancing business needs and resource availability.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration & Alignment
  • Facilitate alignment and integration across multiple operational departments, including Customer Service, Responsible Gaming, Risk & Fraud Prevention, and AML.
  • Act as a central point of coordination to ensure cohesive execution of operational strategies and initiatives.
  • Strategic Support to Leadership
  • Provide comprehensive oversight and actionable insights into operational performance and improvement opportunities.
  • Support strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis and effective communication of operational realities.
