Distributed Cloud | Red Hat Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Senior Red Hat Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. This role demands expertise in large-scale Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration, with a strong focus on automation and DevOps principles. The engineer will design, implement, and optimize critical RHEL infrastructure and automation frameworks. Key responsibilities include installing and maintaining RHEL environments, leading automation with Ansible, developing Shell and Python scripts, resolving complex incidents, monitoring system health with ELK Stack and Grafana, applying DevOps best practices, and enforcing RHEL security policies. The ideal candidate will contribute to robust monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.

Must Have

• Install, configure, and maintain large-scale Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
• Lead infrastructure automation and configuration management using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
• Develop and optimize Shell (Bash) and Python scripts for administrative routines, patching, and deployments.
• Lead complex incident resolution (Level 3) and conduct in-depth Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in RHEL production environments.
• Proactively monitor system health and optimize performance using Elasticsearch (ELK Stack) and Grafana.
• Actively apply DevOps best practices (e.g., Infrastructure as Code).
• Implement and enforce RHEL security policies, including SELinux, firewalling, and identity management.
• Proven experience in Linux System Administration, with a strong focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Proficiency in Automation and Configuration Management tools, specifically Ansible.
• Strong command of scripting with Shell (Bash) and Python.
• Experience with the ELK Stack and Grafana for monitoring and log analysis.
• Solid knowledge of DevOps principles and hybrid cloud environments.
• Advanced capability in troubleshooting and resolving complex system and network issues.

Good to Have

• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as KVM or VMWare.
