Job Summary
The Expertise and Solutions Manager at Rexel is responsible for deploying the company's commercial strategy and ambitions. This involves leading a team of itinerant and sedentary experts in their specialized field, providing technical expertise to meet client needs, and supporting the sales force. Key responsibilities include managing a team, ensuring technical support for sales, animating manufacturer relationships, developing Rexel's service sales, fostering team talent, and ensuring a secure work environment. The role also involves continuous monitoring of industry innovations and coordinating with various departments to align expertise with client requirements.
Must Have
- Lead a team of experts in coordination with the Regional Director.
- Provide technical support to the sales force for offers, business detection, project management, and services, with expertise in industrial processes.
- Ensure the right level of advice and expertise is provided.
- Animate industrial process manufacturers and related commercial actions.
- Participate in the development of Rexel service sales, including training and technical assistance.
- Develop team talents by supporting skill development, fostering autonomy, and enabling potential.
- Ensure a secure work environment with an open and trusting climate, respecting rules and working conditions.
- Strengthen technical skills of experts according to the national industry development plan.
- Continuously monitor and deploy local best practices, innovations, services, and key industry skills.
- Coordinate with management to align expertise with client needs.
- Knowledge of the national offer plan and specific product ranges in their area of expertise.
- Bac+5 higher education (Engineer or Business School).
- Successful managerial experience in tertiary building and/or electrical equipment and energy management solutions trade.
- Solid knowledge in electricity, home automation, and energy management solutions.
- Product and service appropriation, business acumen, negotiation, analytical skills, project management, technology, and mastery of market standards and regulations.
- Leadership, sense of responsibility, organization, and relational intelligence.

Job Description
YOUR DAILY LIFE:
The Expertise and Solutions Manager's role is to deploy Rexel's commercial strategy and ambitions by leading a team of itinerant and sedentary experts in their specialty area, as well as providing their technical expertise according to client needs.
Your main missions:
- Lead a team of experts in coordination with the Regional Director.
- Guarantee support to the sales force by accompanying offers, business detection, project management, and services, through technical expertise in industrial processes.
- Ensure the provision of the right level of advice and expertise required.
- Manage the animation of industrial process manufacturers and related commercial actions.
- Participate in the development of Rexel service sales, including the provision of training and technical assistance services in their area of expertise.
- Develop talents by supporting the skill development of their team, fostering their autonomy, and enabling them to reveal their potential.
- Ensure a secure work environment by establishing an open and trusting climate, while ensuring compliance with rules and working conditions.
- Ensure the technical reinforcement of their experts according to the national industry development plan.
- Ensure continuous monitoring and locally deploy best practices, innovations, services, and key skills in the industry.
- Act in coordination with the Directorates to ensure correspondence between the expertise response and client needs.
- Know the national offer plan as well as the specific product ranges in their area of expertise.
Qualifications
YOUR QUALITIES AND SKILLS:
You hold a Bac+5 higher education degree (Engineer or Business School) and have successful managerial experience in the tertiary building sector and/or electrical equipment and energy management solutions trade. You possess solid knowledge in electricity, home automation, and energy management solutions.
Your know-how is based on product and service appropriation, business acumen, negotiation, analytical skills, project management, technology, and mastery of market standards and regulations.
Your personal qualities: leadership, sense of responsibility, organization, and relational intelligence.
