We're looking for a talented DMP Artist to join our growing team in Paris. As a DMP Artist, you will be instrumental in creating stunning visual elements. You will work closely with our 2D Supervisors, Leads and artists, and other members of One Of Us to ensure the highest quality balancing the technical and creative elements of each shot you work on.
Responsibilities:
Creating visually stunning and photo-real 2D DMP for high-end Film and TV projects.
Integrating matte paintings into 2D or 3D environments using camera mapping (or projection mapping) techniques, primarily using software like Maya and/or Nuke.
Collaborating with the Visual Effects Supervisor and the 2D Supervisor to evaluate the creative and technical approach to assigned shots.
Integrating 2D, 3D and live action elements to high-end visual effects film standard.
To take responsibility for workload, time management, notes/feedback, and any necessary actions required by Supervisors.
To balance the creative and technical aspects of each shot.
Reporting creative and/or technical issues.
Meet deadlines and deliver the expected quality of each shot.
Help build and maintain a reference library.
Keep up with technological advancements and innovations.
Working with a good knowledge of colour space principles.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience developing photo-real environments.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the natural world (geology, geography, and meteorology) and architecture (design and engineering.)
Experience modelling, texturing, layout, lighting and digital matte painting for high-end broadcast or feature film projects.
Thorough understanding of 3D and 2.5D VFX processes and production pipelines.
Good knowledge in CG environments (from Modelling to Lighting.)
Proven experience in Nuke regarding projection and basic Compositing.
Experience in CG Environment in Houdini is a good bonus.

Hours and location
Our core hours are 09:30am to 18:30pm, or 10:00am to 19:00 pm Monday to Friday. We have a great office in the 20th arrondissement, where our artists are based.
All roles, including hybrid/remote opportunities, at One of Us require candidates to reside in the UK or France, depending on the location of the role, or must be willing to relocate for the duration of the contract. All candidates must disclose if they have an existing Right to Work in the relevant country, or would require sponsorship support.
