We’re hiring an eLearning Content Creator / Designer for a remote opportunity based out of Westport, Connecticut. This is a contract role beginning with a paid scoping phase and the potential to evolve into ongoing quarterly project work.
In this role, you'll help modernize an outdated internal learning platform by designing and developing engaging, interactive, and structured eLearning experiences. You'll lead both the scoping and production phases, working closely with internal teams and agency partners to deliver high-quality training content. The project schedule varies and will begin with a scoping phase (5–10 hours) starting in August. The pay range is $55–$60 per hour, paid weekly when active.

eLearning Content Creator / Designer Responsibilities:
Design and develop SCORM-compliant eLearning modules, including interactive video and embedded assessments.
Create detailed storyboards and content maps to define user flow and experience.
Collaborate with stakeholders to organize, structure, and deliver effective learning content.
Build interactive content using Adobe Captivate or similar authoring tools.
Deploy and integrate courses within LMS platforms such as Moodle or Totara.
Enhance learner engagement by incorporating 2D/3D modeling where appropriate.
Advise on instructional design best practices, content structure, and assessment strategy.
eLearning Content Creator / Designer Qualifications:
Proven experience in developing SCORM-compliant e-learning modules.
Proficiency with Adobe Captivate or similar tools.
Experience working within LMS platforms like Moodle or Totara.
Strong skills in storyboarding, content mapping, and interactive content creation.
Familiarity with video-based learning, quizzes, and certificate-generating assessments.
Ability to incorporate 2D/3D modeling into learning content.
Comfortable guiding stakeholders through instructional design and production planning.
Open availability starting in August for a scoping phase (5–10 hours), with potential ongoing project work in Q4 and beyond.
