Job Description

As an Electronic Repair Technician at the Global Avionics Repair Center in Chatellerault, your primary mission will be to investigate, repair, and modify avionics equipment in compliance with various regulations. You will test equipment on test benches, ensure the quality production of electronic components, manage costs and deadlines, and maintain traceability through SAP. You will also actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and daily operations.
Must have:
  • Bac +2/3 education (BTS, DUT/BUT or Professional License) with a focus on electronics
  • Experience in avionics systems maintenance and production
  • Technical knowledge in fault finding methodology
  • Comfortable with computer tools
  • Proficiency in technical English
  • Ensure investigation, repair, and modification of avionics equipment
  • Test equipment on the repair unit's test benches
  • Guarantee repair and production of electronic equipment, considering safety and quality regulations
  • Contribute to meeting costs and deadlines for equipment release
  • Record work in SAP to ensure traceability

The Global Avionics Repair Center is recruiting Electronic Repair Technicians (M/F) on permanent contracts.

Your main mission is to ensure the investigation, repair, and modification of avionics equipment within the framework of various regulations.

By joining us, you will be entrusted with the following missions:

  • You test equipment on the repair unit's test benches.
  • You guarantee the repair and production of electronic equipment, taking into account regulatory safety and quality requirements.
  • You contribute to meeting the costs and deadlines for equipment release.
  • You record your work in our management tool (SAP) to ensure traceability.
  • You actively contribute to improvement initiatives according to current processes and participate in daily activities.

Depending on the activity, you may be required to perform avionics equipment production.

Your profile

  • With a Bac +2/3 education (BTS, DUT/BUT or Professional License) with a focus on electronics, do you have experience in the field of avionics systems maintenance and production?
  • Do you have technical knowledge in fault finding methodology and are you comfortable with computer tools?
  • Are you curious and able to question yourself? These skills are necessary to enable you to carry out in-depth investigations.
  • Are you recognized for your rigor, which will allow you to comply with aeronautical standards and various Thales procedures?
  • Do you master technical English, which will allow you to understand technical documentation to successfully carry out repairs?
  • Finally, are you able to adapt to a demanding and evolving repair environment?
  • Do you have a taste for teamwork?
