Job Summary

Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.

Must Have

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
2-5 years work experience in embedded software and/or driver
Detail-oriented with strong analytic and problem-solving skills
Highly organized
Extremely strong knowledge with C/C++ programming
Good understanding of overall embedded system architecture

Good to Have

Basic working experience in 2D and 3D graphics technology and standards such as OpenGL, OpenGL ES/EGL, Vulkan
Experience in any multimedia areas like Display/Video/GFX/Camera/Audio
Experience and/or knowledge of the use of the GPU as a compute engine: GPGPU and OpenCL
Experience with virtualization technologies across CPU and MM hardware accelerators
Experience with writing vertex and fragment shaders using shading languages such as GLSL
Knowledge in one or more of the following operating systems: Android, QNX, embedded Linux, Genivi, Integrity
