Your Mission

• You are responsible for embedded software development for real-time applications
• This includes the design and implementation of demanding algorithms for control and signal processing
• Integration on specific hardware platforms
• Further development of existing projects and products
• Documentation of software components and systems
• Definition of software requirements for new systems and development of the system concept
• Collaboration in the introduction of new SW technologies and methods

What we look forward to

• Completed studies (HF/FH) in electrical engineering or computer science
• At least 3-5 years of experience as a Software Engineer in Embedded Systems
• Several years of experience in the development of C/C++ based embedded SW solutions
• Experience in hardware-related software development (Device-Drivers, Board Support Package)
• Knowledge in real-time operating systems and digital signal processing (DSP) as well as programmable integrated circuits (FPGA)
• Several years of experience in the development of object-oriented SW solutions
• Knowledge of an agile development process from practical application
• Good knowledge of modern methods and tools for modeling, design, development (UML, Software Patterns) as well as Unit Testing
• Independent, goal-oriented, and proactive way of working
• Initiative and ability to handle stress
• Creativity, precision, curiosity, and sense of responsibility.
• Great interest in the civil and military security of Switzerland
