As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs for cutting-edge products. You will collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers to design system-level software solutions, focusing on performance requirements and interfaces. The role involves working with GPU Software & Hardware teams and ISVs to develop and support compliant and optimized Graphics drivers for Adreno GPUs.

Good To Have:

Hands-on experience with Game development
Experience with Unreal Engine 5
Experience with GPU-based rendering techniques
Prior development experience with Graphics driver implementation/support (Direct3D, Vulkan, OpenCL)
Understanding of graphics rendering pipeline
Understanding of APIs Inter-Op
Experience with Multimedia IPs
Performance profiling experience in DirectX/Vulkan games

Must Have:

1-3 years of experience in Graphics APIs (DX11/DX12/Vulkan)
Strong OOPS and C++ development experience
Strong debugging skills

Job Description

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.

Preferred Qualifications and Responsibilities of the Role
1-3 years of experience in Graphics APIs - any of DX11/DX12/Vulkan.
Looking for a developer with strong design experience with OOPS, & C++ development experience.

Hands-on experience with Game development, experience with Unreal Engine 5, GPU based rendering techniques.
Prefer prior development experience in implementing/supporting Graphics driver for standards (Direct3D, Vulkan, OpenCL). Strong debugging skills would also be preferred
Will work with GPU Software & Hardware teams, and ISVs to develop/support compliant and optimized Graphics drivers for Adreno GPUs for a competitive edge.
Prefer prior experience with understanding the graphics rendering pipeline, APIs Inter-Op, and other Multimedia IPs.
Performance profiling experience in DirectX/Vulkan games is preferred
