Must Have

About the Position

As an Enterprise Systems Engineer (also: Senior Presales Consultant; Senior Sales Engineer) at Veeam, you will work closely with our sales colleagues and introduce our products and solutions to our partners, resellers, and end customers. The position is to be filled nationwide in a home office in Germany. Preferred locations are Stuttgart, Frankfurt am Main, or Munich.

These are your tasks:

• Act as an SME for Veeam's products and work closely with our sales colleagues
• Conduct technical presales appointments and presentations both virtually and on-site
• Understand technical and strategic customer challenges and demonstrate how Veeam can be positioned as a success factor to achieve customer goals
• Customer support during product evaluation and knowledge transfer in the presales phase
• Collaborate with customers and partners to translate customer and business requirements into technical requirements and present them
• Implement and create Proof of Concepts with our partners and customers
• Participate in and conduct events, webinars, and other activities to generate leads and present our products to the market

What you bring:

• Experience in dealing with Enterprise customers and Enterprise topics
• Solution selling and technical presales experience with Enterprise customers in the backup and security environment
• Pronounced understanding of IT infrastructures, as well as their dependencies in complex data centers
• Experience in using software solutions and their rollout in complex IT environments
• Practical experience with data backup technologies, storage, as well as server- or cloud-based technologies
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as Vmware or Hyper-V
• Very good communication skills in writing and speaking, as well as experience in presentations in both German and English

Bonus Skills:
