Job Description
Imerza is seeking an Environment Artist with a strong background in Unreal Engine 5 to push the technical and visual boundaries of landscapes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Unreal Engine Environment Art including 3D Modeling, Asset Creation, Set Dressing, Advanced Materials, and Lighting. They will optimize assets and scenes for real-time applications, maintain visual consistency, pioneer new asset creation techniques, and stay updated with Unreal Engine technologies.
Must have:
- Experience as an Environment Artist or similar role.
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5.
- Experience with 3D modeling and texturing software.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Good to have:
- Experience working in CG for AEC or Enterprise industries
- UE 5 Blueprints, UMG, or MRQ experience.
- Foliage creation (Speedtree, TreeIT)
- Houdini Experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Unreal Engine Environment Art. (3D Modeling, Asset Creation, Set Dressing, Advanced Materials, Lighting)
- Optimize assets and scenes for performance in real-time applications.
- Work with Art Lead and other artists to maintain visual consistency and quality.
- Pioneer new asset creation techniques for environment assets.
- Keep up with current technologies used in Unreal Engine and by various game engines.
Qualifications:
- Experience as an Environment Artist or similar role.
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5, including Foliage, Landscapes, Materials, & Lighting.
- Experience with 3D modeling and texturing software (e.g., Blender, Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in CG for AEC or Enterprise related industries
- UE 5 Blueprints, UMG, or MRQ experience.
- Foliage creation (Speedtree, TreeIT)
- Houdini Experience
