Job Summary

As an Expeditions Assistant within the Supply Chain Department, reporting to the Sales Administration Manager, you will handle administrative and relational tasks for shipping and delivering customer orders. You will contribute to maximizing operational customer satisfaction while adhering to Wabtec group rules. Your daily tasks will include supporting the ADV manager in organizing shipments, preparing merchandise and transport documents, coordinating with carriers, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely arrival of goods before invoicing.

Must Have

  • First successful experience in sales administration or logistics/shipping.
  • Proactive, rigorous, and reactive.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mind and sense of priorities.
  • Knowledge of international import/export transport (customs, Incoterms, documentary credits).
  • Authorization to work in the E.U.
  • Support ADV manager in organizing shipments.
  • Prepare merchandise and transport documents.
  • Coordinate with carriers for shipments.
  • Track transport and archive CMRs.
  • Ensure timely arrival of goods before invoicing.
  • Monitor transport completion.
  • Liaise with warehouse team for shipping documents.
  • Organize other transports as needed.

How will you make a difference in this position?

Within the Supply Chain Department, and under the authority of the Sales Administration Manager, you will perform the administrative and relational tasks required for the shipment and delivery of customer orders.

You will contribute to maximizing operational customer satisfaction in compliance with Wabtec group rules.

What will your days look like?

  • Support the ADV manager in organizing shipments in compliance with deadlines and the agreed budget.
  • Arrange for the availability of goods, as well as transport documents (delivery note, packing list) and/or organize delivery to the customer according to the contractual terms defined in the order.
  • Contact carriers and verify the adequacy between expectations (customer requests: deadlines, delivery documents, etc.) and the products shipped.
  • Track transport and archive CMRs.
  • Be the guarantor at the end of the quarter for the arrival of goods before invoicing.
  • Monitor the proper execution of transports (search for proof of delivery, etc.).
  • Be the privileged contact for the operational warehouse team for the provision of documents to be attached to the products to be shipped.
  • Organize other transport according to activity needs (inter-site Wabtec Hauts-de-France transport, collection of products from customers, etc.)
