Job Description & Summary
A growing team of over 60 collaborators, Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) advises and supports PwC's major international clients in resolving their complex accounting issues during new standard adoption projects, within the framework of their transactions, and to successfully raise funds. CMAAS also assists clients in implementing their sustainability reporting in line with the increasing requirements and expectations of investors and regulators.
Our clients are mainly listed groups, family groups, or companies held by investment funds (Private Equity).
As part of our development, we are looking for an experienced Consultant.
You will be involved in high value-added projects, at decisive moments in the life of companies, within multidisciplinary PwC teams (consultants, transaction teams, auditors, etc.) and occasionally, on projects to support international operations.
What you can expect from us:
- Participate in the execution of accounting framework conversion projects (IFRS, French standards, US GAAP) or the implementation of new accounting standards (IFRS 18, etc.);
- Collaborate with other firm teams (Strategy&, Transaction Services, Consulting, etc.) on large-scale projects thanks to our strategic positioning within the Deals, Transformation, and Sustainability platforms;
- Ensure the preparation of financial information (pro forma information, combined financial statements, ad hoc, etc.) necessary for the completion of a transaction (sale, spin-off, carve-out) or for fundraising (IPO, debt issuance, etc.);
- Contribute to resolving structuring accounting issues related to external growth operations (acquisition, joint-venture);
- Support our listed clients in securing their financial communication (key performance indicators, regulatory issues, etc.);
- Advise our clients on the implementation of new ESG regulations (CSRD) and "Sustainable Finance" (EU Taxonomy) impacting both their extra-financial information (sustainability reporting) and their financial statements;
- Supervise junior collaborators, evaluate them, and coach them throughout your assignments;
- Participate in tenders and commercial proposals.
What we can expect from you:
- You are a graduate of a business school, engineering school, or a university master's degree;
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in a consulting firm, audit firm, or in a corporate function related to accounting standards or consolidation;
- You have a real sensitivity for financial and accounting subjects;
- You demonstrate strong analytical skills, rigor, and initiative, with excellent interpersonal skills;
- You master professional English, both written and spoken, allowing you to evolve in an international environment.
