Job Description & Summary
A growing team of over 60 collaborators, Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) advises and supports PwC's major international clients in resolving their complex accounting challenges during new standard adoption projects, in the context of their transactions, and to successfully raise funds. CMAAS also supports clients in implementing their sustainability reporting in line with the increasing requirements and expectations of investors and regulators.
Our clients are mainly listed groups, family groups, or companies held by investment funds (Private Equity).
As part of our development, we are looking for a Manager/Senior Manager.
You will be involved in high-value-added projects, at decisive moments in the life of companies, within PwC's multidisciplinary teams (consultants, transaction teams, auditors, etc.) and occasionally, on projects to support international operations.
What you can expect from us:
- Manage multidisciplinary teams (consultants, auditors, valuers, etc.);
- Carry out accounting framework conversion projects (IFRS, US GAAP) or implement new accounting standards (IFRS 18, etc.);
- Prepare financial information (pro forma information, combined financial statements, ad hoc, etc.) necessary for carrying out a transaction (sale, spin-off, carve-out) or for raising funds (IPO, debt issuance, etc.);
- Resolve structuring accounting issues related to external growth operations (acquisition, takeover, establishment of joint ventures, etc.);
- Support our listed clients in optimizing their financial communication (key performance indicators, regulatory issues, etc.);
- Advise our clients in the implementation of new ESG (CSRD) and "Sustainable Finance" (EU Taxonomy) regulations impacting both their extra-financial information (sustainability reporting) and their financial statements;
- Supervise, evaluate, and coach teams throughout your assignments;
- Participate in commercial proposals and the development of the CMAAS offering.
What we expect from you:
- You are a graduate of a business school, engineering school, or a university master's program;
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a consulting firm, audit firm, or a corporate function (accounting standards, consolidation, reporting…);
- You demonstrate technical skills in accounting and have in-depth knowledge of IFRS standards; ideally, you have worked on one or more listed companies publishing IFRS accounts;
- You show curiosity, rigor, good analytical skills, and initiative, with excellent client relationship skills;
- You are proficient in professional English, both written and spoken, allowing you to evolve in an international environment.
