Job Description

This role is an Expert Engagement Partner/Medical Representative Intern in Riyadh, focusing on the Wellness line in the Public Sector (Central & East KSA). The intern will be a key link between Haleon and healthcare professionals, acting as a subject matter expert in assigned categories. Responsibilities include aligning with detailing cycle plans, marketing strategy, and working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Medical to drive innovation, performance, and trust objectives.
Must have:
  • Abide by HALEON policies and procedures, conduct Management Monitoring.
  • Assess client needs and present suitable promoted products effectively.
  • Liaise with targeted pharmacies/pharmacists to recommend HALEON OTC products.
  • Provide product information and deliver clear product messages.
  • Attend internal/external meetings, conference calls, and training sessions.
  • Align with sales and marketing strategies for consistent brand messaging.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and governance standards (SOPs & ABAC).
  • Maintain trust relationships with clients based on HALEON attributes.
  • Perform territory analyses, planning, problem-solving, and execution.
  • Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback.
  • Pursue continuous self-learning and professional development.
  • Report daily field activities via Veeva and follow manager directions.
  • Adhere to HALEON Samples & DHCP/HCO SOPs at all times.
  • Complete all required online and classroom development trainings.
  • Support team to improve IPSOS data for OH products.
  • Accept individual projects to drive personal growth and company objectives.

Scope:

  • Central & East KSA
  • Focused on all channels of Expert (HCPs, Pharmacy-public Sector)
  • Subject matter expert in assigned categories GSK competes, with deep knowledge of DHCPs landscape & competition.
  • Align with detailing Cycle plan & marketing strategy, in line with global/area guidelines to win expert recommendations.
  • Works cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales and Medical
  • Accountable to deliver on Innovation, Performance and Trust objectives.
  • Uses our values and expectations to drive actions and decisions.

Key responsibilities

  • Understands and abides by HALEON policies and procedures, conducts Management Monitoring
  • Uses our values and expectations to drive actions and decisions.
  • Assess clients’ needs and present suitable promoted products.
  • Liaise with and detail to targeted Pharmacies/Pharmacists /Private Sector to prescribe/recommend HALEON OTC products like Panadol/Centrum/Sensodyne, Parodontax & Corega …etc by utilizing effective selling skills and performing cost-benefit analysis.
  • Provide product information and deliver product message.
  • Attend / Perform internal & External meetings (upon direct manager recommendation.), Conference calls, training sessions and symposium circuits.
  • Align with sales & marketing strategies to ensure delivery of a consistent marketing / brand message.
  • Ensure adherence to standards of compliance & Governance on SOPs & ABAC
  • Keep trust relationships based on HALEON attributes with clients.
  • Responsible for territory analyses, Planning, Problem Solving, Executions, Competitor Feedback & Results
  • Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback.
  • Pursue continuous self-learning and professional development.
  • Report through Veeva daily field activities/visits to RDM & take directions from managers to improve performance.
  • Follow HALEON Samples & DHCP/HCO SOPs always.
  • Complete all required online & classroom trainings as part of development process.
  • Support team to improve IPSOS data for OH products.
  • Accept individual projects to drive personal growth & company objective to play above competition
