Job Summary

This part-time Facilities Specialist role in Birmingham supports the smooth day-to-day running of the FICO office by delivering essential facilities services. The specialist will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, providing administrative support, managing office supplies, handling access control, assisting with meeting room coordination, liaising with contractors, and supporting health and safety tasks. This hands-on role is for a dependable team member who takes pride in their work.

Must Have

  • Provide general administrative support to the EMEA Facilities Operations Senior Manager.
  • Order office snack supplies.
  • Order general office supplies.
  • Ensure related receipts are submitted promptly to Accounts Payable.
  • Issue and terminate access control passes.
  • Support meeting room queries and coordinate lunch orders when required.
  • Liaise with office contractors (cleaning, maintenance, etc.).
  • Assist with health and safety tasks such as first aid box checks and administrative coordination of Fire Warden and First Aider training.
  • Update and maintain the online filing system for Facilities documentation.
  • Personable, well-presented and approachable, with a positive “can-do” attitude.
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to manage their own workload and handle conflicting priorities.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication skills with a professional and helpful manner.
  • Values a consistent, supportive role and enjoys being a dependable part of day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Contribute
