As a Field Sales Manager for Wolters Kluwer's Tax & Accounting Software in the Limburg region, you will be the primary contact for clients in the accountancy market. Your role involves building lasting relationships, understanding client needs, and translating them into suitable software solutions. You will manage and grow an existing client portfolio, focusing on retention, cross-selling, upselling, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and customer satisfaction. This hybrid role combines office work in Hasselt with client visits and flexible home office options.
Must have:
  • Several years of experience in sales (account management) or in the financial sector.
  • Understanding the needs of accountancy firms and how to strategically support them.
  • Visiting clients, analyzing their needs, and translating them into suitable software solutions.
  • Ability to think along with clients and detect opportunities.
  • Responsible for preparing and following up on offers, closing contracts, and maintaining activities in CRM system.
  • Actively working on retention and customer satisfaction through proactive follow-up and support.
  • Detecting cross-selling opportunities and guiding clients to complementary solutions.
  • Expanding the portfolio through strategic upselling and identifying new needs within existing accounts.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and customer experience.
Good to have:

  • Knowledge of French.

Your role

As a Field Sales Manager, you are the first point of contact for our customers in the accountancy market in the Limburg region. You build sustainable relationships, delve into their needs, and translate these into software solutions.

You report to the Sales Manager and can work from our Hasselt office, combined with client visits and flexible home working options.

  • You visit clients, analyze their needs, and translate them into appropriate software solutions. A thorough understanding of the client and their business is important.
  • You can think along with your clients and thus detect opportunities.
  • You are responsible for preparing and following up on offers, closing contracts, and maintaining your activities in the CRM system.

Your focus is on the management and growth of an existing client portfolio, where you:

  • Actively work on retention and customer satisfaction through proactive follow-up and support.
  • Detect cross-selling opportunities and guide clients to complementary solutions that strengthen their operations.
  • Expand the portfolio through strategic upselling and identifying new needs within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and customer experience.

Your profile

  • You have several years of experience in sales (account management) or you have several years of experience in the financial world. Experience within the accountancy world or experience with software sales is a plus.
  • You understand the needs of accountancy firms and know how to strategically support them.
  • You are strong in communication, customer-oriented, and enjoy working solution-oriented.
  • You have an affinity with software and digital tools, and are curious about technological innovations.
  • You work independently, but also gain energy from collaborating with colleagues.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and have a good knowledge of English; knowledge of French is a plus.
