Job Summary

Wolters Kluwer is seeking an Account & Relationship Manager for the international Legal Software Sales team. This role involves delivering state-of-the-art legal tech solutions (AI and all-in-one software) to leading global companies. The manager will develop and maintain a sales pipeline, manage sales cycles, resolve account issues, negotiate terms, close sales, and transition clients to new products, focusing on value-based selling and building sustainable client relationships.

Must Have

  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline
  • Develop a sales strategy/strategic account management for existing clients
  • Manage sales cycles
  • Communicate with Dutch and international clients to resolve account issues
  • Negotiate terms and independently close sales
  • Transition clients to a new product (upgrade with new offerings and contract terms)
  • Upsell and cross-sell to existing clients
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3+ years' experience in Account Management or Sales
  • Ability to sell value, negotiate, prepare quotes, and act as a sparring partner for clients
  • Excellent communication (both written and oral) and presentation skills
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Ability to consistently deliver high-quality work, even under pressure

  • Proficiency in Dutch language

The Role

Wolters Kluwer is seeking an Account & Relationship Manager for the international Legal Software Sales team. Join us in the rapidly evolving world of legal technology and deliver state-of-the-art solutions (AI and all-in-one software) to leading global companies. Collaborate on an international client portfolio and demonstrate how we can provide the greatest value to their organisation using our modern legal tech platform solutions. Value-based selling is central to this role. It starts with truly understanding where the client (international portfolio) currently stands, identifying their challenges, and exploring together how we can grow. By actively thinking along and focusing on what is valuable for the client, we build a sustainable and mutually successful relationship. You will take the time to listen thoroughly, provide solution-oriented advice, and take the next step together with the client.

What will you do?

  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline, identifying and seizing opportunities in the market.
  • Develop a sales strategy/strategic account management for your existing clients and manage sales cycles.
  • Communicate with Dutch and international clients to resolve any account issues.
  • Negotiate terms and independently close sales with a high degree of responsibility.
  • Transition clients to a new product (upgrade with new offerings and contract terms).
  • Where possible, provide suggestions and solutions to your colleagues in the product and customer support teams.
  • Upsell and cross-sell to existing clients.
  • Travel to and attend conferences, events, and client meetings as necessary.

What do we ask of you?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in Account Management or Sales (experience in software/SaaS sales is a plus).
  • You know how to sell value, negotiate, prepare quotes, and act as a sparring partner for your clients.
  • Excellent communication (both written and oral) and presentation skills.
  • Excellent command of the English language is essential; proficiency in Dutch is an advantage.
  • Ability to consistently deliver high-quality work, even under pressure.
