Field Service Engineer
This is a customer support position primarily responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of medical devices (such as MRI, X-ray diagnostic equipment, ultrasound diagnostic equipment, and vital sign monitors). The role ensures that medical professionals and patients can use our products with peace of mind.
Over the long period of using our products, you will accurately grasp customer needs and be responsible for explaining post-sales maintenance contracts and services. We are looking for candidates who are motivated to continuously improve their skills as technicians to provide high-quality service to our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Installation, periodic inspection, and repair (emergency/scheduled) of medical devices.
2. Promptly and effectively escalate customer issues.
3. Provide quick reports and proposals to customers and internally.
4. Develop technical and interpersonal skills and knowledge necessary for service engineer duties.
5. Continuously work to improve technical skills for assigned equipment.
6. Report equipment safety issues identified based on quality policies.
7. Propose maintenance and repair services to customers and handle repair billing.
8. Provide telephone support and remote diagnostics for customer requests, as needed.

Required Experience/Skills / Desired Candidate Profile:
We welcome candidates with experience as aircraft mechanics, automobile mechanics, copier/elevator maintenance personnel, or from the IT industry!
- Experience in electrical, mechanical, or information technology.
- Experience with systems built with multiple devices (e.g., customer support, field service, sales engineer).
- Willingness to relocate (relocation allowances available).
- Driver's license required.
- Network knowledge is a plus.
- Teamwork skills (frequently involves coordinating schedules within the group, collaborating with sales, headquarters, etc.).
- Candidates with a science background, especially those who majored in electrical/electronic/mechanical/medical technology at technical college, vocational school, or university, are highly welcome.
- Language: Extremely fluent in Japanese, including conversation, reading, and writing.
