THE ROLE
We are looking for a proactive and strategic Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of our Brazilian company. The ideal candidate will have strong financial expertise, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and a proven track record in managing complex finance functions. In this role, you will drive financial strategy, ensure compliance, and provide key insights to senior management. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Lead the budgeting process and provide financial forecasts to guide business decisions and strategic planning.
- Ensure effective management of the company’s cash flow to maintain liquidity and support business operations
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, and provide actionable insights to senior management
- Manage and mentor the finance and people team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional and global teams
- Communicate financial performance and strategy clearly to internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to drive operational efficiency
- Work with local advisors to manage and oversee the company’s tax strategy, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and other taxes
- Oversee employee-related operations such as payroll, benefits, compensation, and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in Brazil.
