Job Summary

As a Finance Manager, you will support Studio Leadership with financial analysis and reporting, providing insights for decision-making and helping achieve organisational goals. You will be the primary contact for external accountants, payroll, and tax advisors. The role involves managing day-to-day finance operations, ensuring compliance, preparing forecasts and budgets, analyzing performance, and continuously improving finance processes. You need to be detail-oriented with strong modelling and problem-solving skills.

Must Have

  • Coordinate with external providers on payroll, accounting, and tax compliance matters.
  • Manage day-to-day finance operations, including bookkeeping, AP processing and vendor payments.
  • Manage administrative finance requirements such as VAT filing and VGTR tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Support month-end closing activities and statutory reporting in collaboration with external accountants.
  • Prepare and review monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and scenario modelling.
  • Analyse revenue recognition, projects P&L, and key performance indicators.
  • Provide financial insights and actionable recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance finance processes, improving efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in group-level initiatives to strengthen workflows, automation, and the adoption of AI-driven tools.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance / Accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance or FP&A.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles, financial controlling, and UK tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in Excel modelling.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Highly analytical, meticulous, and able to meet deadlines.

Good to Have

  • Experience in Audit or Transaction Services is highly valued.
  • Experience with Power Query or Power Automate is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations.
  • Experience in an international finance function.
  • Strong Management Accountant looking to step up to a Finance Manager role.
  • Gaming experience is nice to have but not essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

###### Accounting & Compliance

  • Coordinate with external providers on payroll, accounting, and tax compliance matters.
  • Manage day-to-day finance operations, including bookkeeping, AP processing and vendor payments.
  • Manage administrative finance requirements such as VAT filing and VGTR tracking etc.
