Job Description

We are seeking a Financial Planning Specialist in Mexico City to generate and maintain revenue-related information for the Nissan Importers Business Unit (NIBU). This role involves providing financial analysis and proposals to support strategic and financial decision-making, as well as leading key projects to optimize departmental processes. The specialist will consolidate financial indicators, analyze data for reports, automate processes, and support budget tracking.
Must have:
  • Consolidate and maintain updated databases with key financial and commercial indicators.
  • Process and analyze data to produce reports and dashboards.
  • Automate processes using advanced Excel, macros, and programming.
  • Support the definition and tracking of the annual budget, forecasts, and financial scenarios.
  • Participate in pricing validations for specific sales events and perform profitability analysis by model.
  • Collaborate closely with pricing, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Identify improvement opportunities through variance analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Financial Planning, FP&A, profitability analysis, or similar roles.
  • Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, complex formulas, and macros).
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Experience in dashboard creation and data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools).
Good to have:
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL / Visual Basic.

We are currently seeking a Financial Planning Specialist to join our team in Mexico City. This professional will be responsible for generating and maintaining revenue-related information for the NIBU (Nissan Importers Business Unit), providing financial analysis and proposals that support decision-making from a strategic and financial perspective.

Additionally, they will lead key projects aimed at optimizing processes within the department.

A Day in the Life of This Role:

  • Consolidate and maintain updated databases with key financial and commercial indicators (sales, pricing, margins, costs, marketing, etc.).
  • Process and analyze data to produce reports and dashboards with relevant insights for financial and commercial leadership.
  • Automate processes using tools such as advanced Excel, macros, and programming (preferably Visual Basic and SQL).
  • Support the definition and tracking of the annual budget, forecasts, and financial scenarios.
  • Participate in pricing validations for specific sales events and perform profitability analysis by model.
  • Collaborate closely with pricing, sales, and marketing teams to ensure financially sound business decisions.
  • Identify improvement opportunities through variance analysis versus business plans (e.g., revenue deviations, margin fluctuations).

Who We’re Looking For:

  • A professional with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Financial Planning, FP&A, profitability analysis, or similar roles.
  • Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, complex formulas, and macros).
  • Advanced English language skills
  • Experience in dashboard creation and data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools).
  • Strong analytical skills, structured thinking, and results-oriented mindset.

Desired:

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL / Visual Basic.
