Job Description

As a Front Office & Reservation Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth reception of guests, from booking to check-out, using your organizational skills and people-centric approach. You will lead your team with empathy, ensuring a motivating work environment and professional service that delights guests. Your tasks include managing check-ins, reservations, budget oversight, quality assurance, team development, scheduling, and collaboration with other departments.
Must have:
  • Conduct check-ins and process reservations, including checking bookings, overbookings, and options.
  • Monitor cost and lodging revenue budgets.
  • Ensure quality standards and maintain the quality management system.
  • Train, motivate, and lead the Front Office & Reservation team.
  • Create duty and vacation schedules.
  • Conduct internal coaching, cross-training, and plan employee development courses.
  • Develop apprentices.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales department and the Hotel Manager.
  • Training in hotel industry or at least 2 years of professional experience in hotel industry/gastronomy.
  • First leadership experience.
  • Good expression in German and English (spoken and written).

  • Interest in a career change (e.g., with several years of experience as a team leader in the service area).
  • Enjoyment in developing employees.
  • Host qualities and passion for the hotel industry.

Job Description

As Front Office & Reservation Manager (m/w/d), you ensure a warm welcome for guests with your organizational talent and a genuine feel for people – from the smooth booking process to check-out.

You lead your team with empathy and clarity, creating a motivating work environment. Your goal: a smooth process and a professional appearance that consistently delights guests.

In addition, your tasks include:

  • Performing check-ins and receiving and processing reservations, including checking bookings, overbookings, and options.
  • Monitoring cost and lodging revenue budgets.
  • Ensuring quality standards and maintaining the quality management system.
  • Training, motivating, and leading the Front Office & Reservation team.
  • Creating duty and vacation schedules.
  • Conducting internal coaching, cross-training, and planning training for employee development.
  • Developing apprentices.
  • Close collaboration with the Sales department and the Hotel Manager.
