Full Stack Engineer (AI-Driven Systems) - Berkeley Myles

Berkeley Myles Solutions, part of Banyan Software, is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to modernize its enterprise platform, ProgressPlus, and integrate AI-enhanced capabilities. This role involves new feature development, modern UI experiences, cloud-ready services, and AI-supported development practices, collaborating with senior engineers, product managers, and designers to build reliable, scalable, and user-friendly software.

Must Have

• Build and maintain full stack applications with attention to quality, performance, and maintainability
• Contribute to the implementation of AI-supported development practices
• Work with product and UX to develop intuitive user-facing features
• Participate in code reviews and engineering discussions
• Support modernisation work including refactoring, modularisation, and cloud-native migration
• Collaborate with the team on technical decisions and contribute to improving development processes
• 2–4+ years of full stack engineering experience
• Strong skills in .NET Core and a modern JavaScript framework (React preferred, or Vue/Angular)
• Interest in applying AI/ML tools within the development process
• Familiarity with SaaS concepts or cloud-native design patterns
• Good understanding of engineering fundamentals such as version control, testing, and CI/CD
• Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills

• Experience working on platform modernisation or greenfield projects
• Exposure to regulated or data-sensitive environments
• Interest in prompt engineering or AI-assisted tooling
• Participation in open source or technical writing

About the Role:

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team as we modernise our enterprise platform and introduce AI‑enhanced capabilities. This role is ideal for someone with solid full‑stack experience who wants to deepen their skills, contribute to meaningful product improvements, and grow into greater responsibility over time.

As part of the engineering team, you will work on new feature development, modern UI experiences, cloud‑ready services, and AI‑supported development practices. You’ll collaborate closely with senior engineers, product managers, and designers to build reliable, scalable, and user‑friendly software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain full stack applications with attention to quality, performance, and maintainability
• Contribute to the implementation of AI‑supported development practices such as code generation, automated testing, and observability
• Work with product and UX to develop intuitive user-facing features
• Participate in code reviews and engineering discussions, helping maintain high-quality standards
• Support modernisation work including refactoring, modularisation, and cloud‑native migration
• Collaborate with the team on technical decisions and contribute to improving development processes

Tech Stack You’ll Use:

• Backend: C#, .NET Core, Web API, REST
• Frontend: React (preferred), or Vue/Angular
• AI Tooling: GitHub Copilot, LLM-based assistants, prompt frameworks
• DevOps/Infra: Docker, GitHub Actions, Azure or AWS
• Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL

What We’re Looking For:

• 2–4+ years of full stack engineering experience
• Strong skills in .NET Core and a modern JavaScript framework
• Interest in applying AI/ML tools within the development process
• Familiarity with SaaS concepts or cloud‑native design patterns
• Good understanding of engineering fundamentals such as version control, testing, and CI/CD
• Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
