UI Developer (Angular)

Banyan Software is seeking a UI Developer (Angular) for ASI, a fintech company providing banking platforms. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web application user interfaces using Angular, Tailwind CSS, and PrimeNG. Responsibilities include integrating with C# services, utilizing Storybook for documentation, optimizing UI performance, and ensuring secure coding practices in the financial domain. The developer will collaborate with product owners to translate designs into functional interfaces and enhance reusable UI components.

Must Have

• Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for web applications using Angular and modern UI frameworks.
• Implement responsive and accessible designs leveraging Tailwind CSS and PrimeNG components.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate UI components with C# services and APIs.
• Utilize Storybook for component documentation and visual testing to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and code reviews.
• Optimize UI performance and troubleshoot cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and compliance standards in the financial domain.
• Work closely with product owners to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional interfaces.
• Maintain and enhance reusable UI components and libraries for internal development teams.
• Stay current with emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• 4 years of professional experience in front-end development (including internships or academic projects).
• Proficiency in Angular and familiarity with component-driven development using Storybook.
• Strong knowledge of CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS and UI libraries like PrimeNG.
• Experience integrating front-end components with C#/.NET backends.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with source control systems (Git) and development tools (Visual Studio, VS Code).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
