Job Description

We are seeking a Fullstack Engineer for our Payments domain, responsible for all payment transactions to and from the player’s gaming account. You will join a team focused on developing innovative, high-performing features using cloud technologies in high-throughput transactional systems. Your role involves end-to-end development responsibilities, from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance. The team has significant autonomy in deciding what to build and conducts user testing and monitors service performance and monetary aspects. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining services in the payments domain, specifically for internal tools like the Payments Backoffice, testing and updating documentation, participating in architectural discussions, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet player needs.
Must have:
  • Min. 4 years of experience with Java + Spring Boot
  • Experience with TypeScript & React (min. 3 years)
  • Experience with MySQL and Kafka
  • Familiarity with microservice architecture
  • Ownership of solutions from design to maintenance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent English (C1)
Good to have:
  • Experience with Material UI
  • Experience with Kotlin
  • Experience building payment industry applications
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform

ABOUT THE ROLE

 

We are looking for a Fullstack Engineer for our Payments domain. In this domain, we work with all payment transactions to and from the player’s gaming account. Whether it’s card or bank-based, new regulatory requirements, it’s all handled by Payments!

 

You will work with a team of developers focusing on developing innovative and high-performing features with cloud technologies in very high-throughput transactional systems.

 

You will work within the full chain of development having end-to-end responsibilities from requirements collection to deployment and maintenance of the team's services. The team has great freedom to agree on what to build and follows up with user testing, monitoring not only the service's technical performance but also from a monetary perspective.

 

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

 

    Taking part in designing, developing and maintaining services in the payments domain in general and especially to our internal tools and systems, like the Payments Backoffice.

    Testing and updating documentation.

    Participating in architectural discussions and suggesting ideas for technical improvements.

    Teaming up with other developers, architects and stakeholders to ensure that our platform meets the needs of our players.

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

 

    Min. 4 years of experience in using Java + Spring Boot framework

   Experience with TypeScript & React (minimum 3 years)

   Experience with MySQL and Kafka

    Familiarity with microservice architecture

    Being not only a developer but primarily a software engineer - you love taking ownership of the solutions from their design to implementation and maintenance.

   Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating technical decisions and offering valuable recommendations to the team

   Fluent English (C1 level is a minimum, as we communicate in English)

NICE TO HAVES

      Experience with Material UI

      Experience with Kotlin

      Experience building applications for payments industry

      Experience with Google Cloud Platform
