Function Owner - ADAS/IVI System (m/f/d) (m/w/d) - Product Line Compute

Valeo, a global tech company, is seeking a Function Owner for ADAS/IVI Systems to join their team in Bietigheim-Bissingen. This role involves technical leadership for IVI and ADAS domain-crossing HPC systems in OEM projects, including defining system architecture. The Function Owner will act as a cross-functional and customer interface, contribute to the platform roadmap, and manage technical risks and quality, ensuring product robustness and adherence to technical standards.

Must Have

• Technical leadership of a function: leading and working on functions of IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment) and ADAS domain-crossing HPC systems for OEM projects, including defining the system architecture of the functions.
• Cross-functional interface and customer interface: leading communication between technical disciplines and acting as the main contact person for customers regarding all aspects of the function, from acquisition to series development.
• Contribution to the platform roadmap of the function.
• Risk and quality management: identifying and managing technical risks, ensuring product robustness, and enforcing technical standards and best practices.
• Completed engineering degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, Physics) or comparable education.
• Functional automotive experience, preferably in driver assistance systems.
• Knowledge of ISO26262/ISO15504/Automotive Spice as well as automotive tools (e.g., CANoe, ADTF, Doors).

Good to Have

• C/C++ programming skills are desirable.
• Experience in model-based development is an advantage.
• Experience with vehicle architectures and sensors in the driver assistance area and their functionality is an advantage.

• ADAS functions may include: Collision avoidance (AEB, emergency assistant), driving functions (ACC, LCA, navigation with autopilot).

• Functional automotive experience, preferably in driver assistance systems.
