Job Summary
As a Hardware Design Leader, you will design cutting-edge electronics for top car manufacturers, working in an international and multicultural environment. Your mission involves creating electronic circuits for automotive illumination systems according to customer specifications, utilizing up-to-date techniques. You will be responsible for adhering to engineering processes, planning and monitoring activities, ensuring robust design and validation within economic targets, and managing project schedules and budgets. You will also perform simulations, apply standardization rules, and interface with customers.
Must Have
- Comply with Engineering discipline processes and Design Rules
- Plan, monitor, and control activities following CPM
- Ensure robust design and validation within economic targets
- Review internal and customer requirements and specifications
- Establish detailed activity breakdowns for milestones
- Manage activities and spending to meet budget and timing
- Perform or support design calculations, simulations, coding, and acceptance tests
- Apply standardization rules
- Prepare for Engineering discipline design reviews
- Interface with customers on engineering content
- Report and escalate to Product Technical Manager/Leader/Eng
- Electronics Engineering Degree/Master or equivalent
- 5-7 years experience in Hardware Design (automotive or relevant)
- Proficiency in Simulation and CAD tools (Simetrix, Pspice, Cadence)
- Knowledge of EMC good practices
- Mandatory negotiation level English

As a Hardware Design Leader, you will be designing cutting edge electronics for top car makers in the world, working in a fast paced, international and multicultural environment.
Your mission will be to design electronic circuits according to customer specifications for illumination systems in the automotive industry, following the most up to date techniques in a constantly evolving environment.
Your responsibilities:
Accountable for :
- Complying with Engineering disciplines processes and Design Rules:
- Plan, monitor and control activities according to Engineering discipline PD of his/her PG/PL following CPM (CLEAN Project Management)
- In charge of the robust design / validation in line with the economical targets
- Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications
Responsible for the detailed scheduling and budgeting
- Contribute to the identification of the needs in terms of resources, equipments, investments
- Establish detail breakdown of the activities to meet the milestones
- Follow activities and spending of his scope to meet his allowed budget and timing
- Perform or support design calculations / simulations / coding / associated acceptance tests
- Applies Standardization rules, exceptionally will request destandardizations based on justifications
- Responsible for Engineering discipline design reviews preparation
- Interface with the customer for the Engineering discipline content
- Report and escalate to the Product Technical Manager/Leader/Eng and his Hierarchical
Desired skills and experience:
- Electronics Engineering Degree/Master, Telecommunications or equivalent experience
- 5/7 years of experience in Hardware Design in automotive engineering or relevant industries.
- Knowledge of Simulation and CAD tools (Simetrix, Pspice, Cadence...)
- EMC good practices
- Passion for HW design
- Passion for the automotive industry
- Negotiation English level is mandatory
