We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Analog Safety Development team for a 6-month internship focused on Functional Safety. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in safety analysis and contribute to the development of Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMICs) within a dynamic and innovative environment, aiming for the highest level of functional safety (ISO 26262 ASIL D solutions).
Must have:
  • Perform Quantitative Safety Analysis using ANSYS Medini tool on PMICs for Electrified Vehicles
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for Safety metrics evaluation
  • Generate and export safety analysis and metrics documentation for Customer use cases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in safety analysis workflows and tool usage
  • Support for Customer safety enablement
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Good to have:
  • Basic understanding of Functional Safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262)
  • Familiarity with ANSYS Medini
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python)
  • Familiarity with PMIC architecture

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Analog Safety Development team for a 6-month internship focused on Functional Safety. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in safety analysis and contribute to the development of Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMICs) within a dynamic and innovative environment for the highest level of functional safety (ISO 26262 ASIL D solutions)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Quantitative Safety Analysis using the ANSYS Medini tool on developed PMICs for Electrified Vehicles
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to support Safety metrics evaluation per Customer use case:
  • Variant management
  • Customization of safety-related modules and safety mechanisms according to use cases based on customer configuration files
  • Generate and export safety analysis and metrics documentation for Customer dedicated use cases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Definition, Architects, Verification) to ensure alignment with safety standards and project requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in safety analysis workflows and tool usage.
  • Support for Customer safety enablement

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Functional Safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ANSYS Medini and/or scripting languages (e.g., Python), and PMIC architecture is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
