Join NXP TOULOUSE's Automotive Radar center to develop solutions for advanced driver assistance and autonomous driving. This exciting internship role in the Advanced Chip Engineering (ACE) entity involves contributing to the development and execution of validation setups for automotive RADAR millimeter wave blocks. You will focus on automating lab environments, executing validation runs, and debugging measurements, playing a part in the future of automotive safety.

Join our Automotive Radar center at NXP TOULOUSE to develop solutions enabling the car to sense its environment for advanced driver assistance toward autonomous driving and zero road fatalities.

In this exciting role, you will be challenged by taking your part in the future of Automotive.

The Advanced Chip Engineering (ACE) entity develops advanced solutions for automotive processors, microcontrollers, audio and radar systems. In Toulouse, about 70 engineers are working on automotive radar domain for autonomous driving. In the RADAR Validation group, we are now looking for a Senior Validation Engineer to support the development of NXP’s next chip generation.

Your responsibilities

As validation intern, you will contribute to development and execution on validation setups for automotive RADAR millimeter wave blocks. It consists in:

  • Automating lab environments
  • Executing validation runs
  • Debug measurements

Your profile

  • Knowledge in High Frequencies measurements
  • Knowledge in Python scripting
  • Fluent in English language both oral and written to work in an international environment with colleagues around the world
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing
  • Open to new ideas and have a creative attitude
  • Taking initiative to spot and implement improvement
