CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Game Capture Lead to oversee the creation of high-quality game footage, screenshots and in-engine renders for RED Creative Publishing projects. This role blends cinematic artistry, technical expertise, and leadership skills to ensure visually striking content that supports marketing and storytelling initiatives.
Daily Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary capture team, fostering their technical and artistic development.
- Define and implement efficient workflows for in-game capture, rendering, and asset exports within REDengine and Unreal Engine.
- Oversee the use of proprietary capture tools, devkits, and third-party software to ensure the highest quality assets.
- Guide cinematography and photography within the engine, setting standards for lighting, composition, and shot framing.
- Ensure alignment with RED Creative Publishing and marketing teams, delivering assets that support key initiatives.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges related to game capture, optimizing performance and maintaining stability.
- Collaborate with external agencies when scaling projects, ensuring a consistent visual style and quality.
- Drive innovation by exploring new in-engine cinematic techniques to enhance the visual storytelling experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Unreal Engine or a similar engine’s cinematic pipeline.
- Strong background in cinematography and photography, with an eye for composition, lighting, and camera work.
- Experience leading and managing creative/technical teams, including performance reviews and team development.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to partner with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, lean environment and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
Nice to have

- Familiarity with console/PC devkits for capture workflows.
- Experience with various project management or scheduling tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, ShotGrid).
- Basic knowledge of post-production processes to better anticipate the needs of editing teams.

Working mode
In-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity in Warsaw, Poland. Relocation is required.
