Game UI Artist
We are expanding our team and looking for a creative and energetic Game UI Artist to join
us. You will be responsible for designing and creating visually compelling UI assets that
enhance the gaming experience. Working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you
will work closely with Art Directors, Game Designers, Producers, and Developers to create
cutting-edge mobile games.
Responsibilities:
● Design and create high-quality 2D UI assets, including icons, menus, buttons, HUD elements, and promotional materials.
● Develop mockups, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to visualize UI concepts.
● Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth implementation of UI elements in the game.
● Maintain consistency and optimization in existing UI art styles.
● Enhance the user experience (UX) by designing intuitive and engaging game navigation.
● Create functional cross-platform UI assets for multiple game titles.
● Ensure that UI designs align with the game's branding and visual direction.
● Work with the Art Lead to develop and manage asset libraries and guidelines.
● Support marketing efforts by providing assets for promotional campaigns.
● Maintain a cohesive visual style across all UI elements.
● Take creative projects from concept to final execution efficiently.
Skills:
● Passion for gaming and staying updated on industry trends.
● BFA certification is a plus, but any graduate can apply.
● Strong knowledge of design principles, color theory, composition, and layout design.
● Expertise in game UI and UX design, with an understanding of usability, flow, and information hierarchy.
● Ability to create visually appealing designs optimized for different platforms.
● Experience in sketching, wireframing, and mockup creation for UI designs.
● Creative thinking and a strong ability to come up with new and engaging game ideas.
● Ability to collaborate effectively with Game Designers, Developers, and other Artists.
● Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
● Experience in 2D UI/UX design, preferably in the gaming industry.
Technologies:
● Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD and Figma.
● Basic understanding of game engines (Unity, Unreal) and how UI/UX is integrated
into games.
