Job Summary
Brahma, an enterprise AI company and part of the DNEG Group, is seeking Gen AI workflow designers. These experts will create efficient workflows for deploying Audiovisual Generative AI models, primarily using ComfyUI, staying at the forefront of Gen AI advancements. Responsibilities include designing, maintaining, and integrating state-of-the-art tools, collaborating with research teams on workflow templates to maximize model performance, and experimenting with novel model combinations. The role also involves supporting creative and product teams by building tailored workflows and transitioning them into scalable solutions with DevOps collaboration. Additionally, the designer will maintain the custom ComfyUI environment, evaluate alternative deployment platforms, and train artists in ComfyUI usage.
Must Have
- Expertise in ComfyUI, including custom workflows, nodes, and pipelines.
- Experience in Python and Javascript development.
- Experience maintaining and deploying custom ComfyUI environments.
- Proven ability to implement existing tools and techniques into custom pipelines.
- Ability to evaluate and present potential model deployment platforms.
- Comfortable setting up testing environments for model inference and training.
- Proficiency with Conda, git, and dependency management.
- Sufficient Python/PyTorch knowledge to adapt code.
- Experience collaborating with developers.
- Professional experience testing photoreal generative models, ideally video applications.
- Deep awareness of Gen AI communities and offerings (open and closed-source).
- Comfortable onboarding and training artists in ComfyUI usage.
Good to Have
- Prior role in a pipeline or R&D-focused environment.
- Professional background as a creative or developer in a visual field (VFX, visual arts, etc.).

Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain efficient, functional workflows for deploying audiovisual GenAI models, primarily using ComfyUI.
- Identify, integrate, and update workflows with state-of-the-art tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with GenAI and research teams to develop, evaluate, and refine workflow templates that maximize model performance.
- Experiment with novel model and tool combinations to enhance existing workflows and create new ones.
- Support creative and product teams by building templatable, tailored workflows and working with multi disciplinary teams to transition them into scalable solutions.
- Work alongside Gen AI pipeline team to maintain and develop our custom ComfyUI environment.
- Present and evaluate alternative model deployment platforms while contributing to internal platform development.
- Onboard and train artists from other disciplines in ComfyUI workflow usage.
Must Haves
- Expertise in ComfyUI. As this will initially be the main workflow development platform, the candidate must be very comfortable and experienced creating custom workflows, nodes and pipelines. Developing both in Python and JS.
- Experience maintaining and deploying custom ComfyUI environments.
- Proven experience at effectively implementing existing tools and techniques into wider custom pipelines.
- Quick to understand, evaluate and present other potential model deployment platforms to the team, while assisting in developing in house alternatives.
- Comfortable setting up testing environments for model inference and training. Must be confident with Conda, git, dependency management, and have enough Python/PyTorch knowledge to adapt code to specific requirements.
- Experience collaborating with developers.
- Professional experience testing photoreal generative models, ideally with a focus on video applications.
- Deep engagement and awareness of the Gen AI communities and offerings, across both open and closed-source spaces.
- Comfortable onboarding and training artists from other disciplines in ComfyUI usage to expand the wider Gen AI artist group.
- Prior role in a pipeline or RnD-focused environment.
- Professional background either as a creative or a developer in a visual field such as VFX, visual arts, or a visually-driven tech company.
