Job Description

As a GenAI QA Consultant at PwC, you will lead the design and enhancement of test automation frameworks for AI and GenAI projects. You will establish testing strategies, oversee test case creation and execution, and direct API test automation. Responsibilities include implementing Azure Test Automation, managing Kubernetes environments, driving defect resolution, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage. You will integrate automation into Agile and CI/CD pipelines, stay updated on AI technologies, and mentor team members to foster continuous improvement.
Must Have:
  • Lead the design, development, and continuous enhancement of test automation frameworks tailored for AI and GenAI projects.
  • Establish and communicate test automation requirements and strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of detailed test cases, scripts, and scenarios for various testing types.
  • Direct API test automation efforts to ensure seamless integration and functionality of AI and GenAI solutions.
  • Implement and maintain Azure Test Automation (or equivalent frameworks) to automate tests and validate system functionalities.
  • Manage Azure Kubernetes environments for deploying and scaling test infrastructures.
  • Drive the resolution of defects and issues by collaborating effectively with development teams.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage and traceability, delivering insightful test reports and metrics.
  • Integrate test automation into Agile workflows and the CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in test automation and AI technologies.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in test automation QA, with significant leadership experience in managing QA teams.
  • Proven track record of working on AI/GenAI projects, with a deep understanding of testing these technologies.
  • Expertise in Azure Test Automation or similar frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency in managing test environments using Azure Kubernetes.
  • Extensive experience with API test automation tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps for effective test management and CI/CD integration.
  • Mastery of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities.

As a GenAI QA Consultant, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the design, development, and continuous enhancement of test automation frameworks tailored for AI and GenAI projects.

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in test automation QA, with significant leadership experience in managing QA teams.
  • Proven track record of working on AI/GenAI projects, with a deep understanding of the specific challenges and requirements in testing these technologies.
  • Expertise in Azure Test Automation or similar frameworks, with a strong command of test automation practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in managing test environments using Azure Kubernetes.
  • Extensive experience with API test automation tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps for effective test management and CI/CD integration.
  • Mastery of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, capable of leading issue resolution efforts.

PwC BC Region Pay Range Information

The salary range* for this position is $82,300.00 - 109,700.00 - 137,000.00$ CAD Annual, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual bonus payment. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon your skills, experience, qualifications and geographic location.

*Please note that the salary range for this position is reflected for our British Columbia region. Given our national recruiting approach, we recruit (and may hire) in other regions and therefore the salary range may differ depending on the work location.
