Automation Engineer

The mission involves conducting a modification study and integrating new industrial automation systems into existing setups, ensuring functional and secure integration. Key responsibilities include defining requirements, coordinating studies with stakeholders, providing technical support, and ensuring project execution quality and deadlines. The role requires expertise in industrial process automation, experience with digital control systems, and the ability to write technical documents.

Must Have

• Define and frame the expression of need for the automation of new installations
• Coordinate studies with various stakeholders (operations, maintenance, project manager, companies)
• Provide technical support during project preparation and execution phases
• Guarantee project execution in terms of quality and deadlines
• Respect & enforce site QHSE rules
• Expertise in industrial process automation (Siemens S7 technology)
• Experience with a digital control system (Siemens T3000 or equivalent)
• Ability to write technical documents (specifications, functional analyses)
• Autonomy & rigor
• Analytical mind and team spirit
• Engineering degree in automation, instrumentation, or electrical engineering
• Confirmed experience (5+ years) in I&C in the energy or oil sector

Expected Services

• Define functional and technical needs related to the integration of new installations
• Perform a technical analysis of the existing system (PLCs, architecture, I/O interfaces, protocols)
• Draft the technical specifications and functional description of the new installations
• Propose a target architecture and integration scenarios
• Ensure technical project monitoring and validation of deliverables
• Participate in technical exchanges with internal teams and service providers
• Support company consultations
• Participate in the commissioning and final acceptance of new installations

Qualifications
