Job Summary

This role involves contributing to a project focused on configuration management and automated PDF generation within an insurance company, utilizing C#/.NET 8 and MS SQL Server. The Senior Test Automation Engineer will lead test strategy, integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high-quality solutions through a balance of exploratory, automated, and performance testing.

Must Have

  • Contribute to refinement sessions to ensure shared understanding of user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders to define, plan, and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Lead and evolve the team’s test strategy, processes, and best practices aligned with departmental goals.
  • Apply a shift-left/shift-right mindset to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
  • Balance exploratory, automated, and performance testing to ensure optimal coverage and reliability.
  • Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, driving robust automation and clear reporting.
  • Continuously improve alerting, monitoring, and quality visibility.
  • Promote TDD, pair programming, and a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Mentor teammates and share innovative quality practices across the organization.
  • Minimum 6 years working as a fulltime Test Automation Engineer.
  • UI automation experience using Playwright.
  • Performance testing experience using k6.
  • API testing experience using Postman and RestAssured.
  • Strong exploratory testing skills.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps / cloud tools.
  • Fluent communication in English.

Job Description

Project – the aim you’ll hav

The project focuses on configuration management and automated generation of PDF documents within an insurance company ecosystem.

  • Core technology stack: C# / .NET 8 and MS SQL Server.
  • The system manages document templates, configuration versioning, and business-rule–driven PDF rendering.
  • Quality assurance is a key part of the development workflow.
  • Testing scope includes:
  • UI tests using Playwright
  • API testing using Postman
  • SpecFlow BDD test automation
  • Unit-level testing o Performance tests uses k6
  • CI/CD processes are implemented in Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years working as a fulltime Test Automation Engineer for a customer facing high volume
  • UI automation experience using Playwright
  • Performance testing experience using k6
  • API testing experience using Postman and RestAssured
  • Strong exploratory testing skills
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps / cloud tools
  • Fluent communication in English
