Job Responsibilities :
The Global Esports Specialist will be responsible for executing a wide range of esports projects, campaigns, and initiatives. Reporting into the Global Esports Team, this position will support and implement Razer’s esports strategy, build relationships with industry stakeholders, and work cross-functionally to support both esports marketing and product initiatives. You’ll play an important part in enhancing our brand presence, community engagement, and global impact in competitive gaming.
Global Esports Initiatives
- Support the planning, execution, and delivery of global esports campaigns and special projects.
- Assist in managing project timelines, deliverables, and production quality across esports activations.
- Coordinate product seeding efforts across regions, ensuring that top-tier players receive the latest Razer gear.
- Collaborate with esports organizations, professional players, and talent to foster relationships and collect feedback to strengthen the Team Razer brand.
- Support logistics and coordination for esports partnerships, tournaments, and regional/global events.
- Represent Razer at key industry events, both online and offline, to build brand affinity and strengthen community ties.
- Stay up-to-date on the global esports landscape including major titles, leagues, teams, and players.
Marketing and Campaign Execution
- Collaborate with the Global Esports and broader Marketing teams to ensure esports campaigns align with Razer’s brand objectives and resonate with target audiences.
- Contribute to campaign planning and execution across digital and physical platforms.
- Work closely with regional teams, creative teams, and product teams to execute integrated campaigns and esports initiatives.
- Help localize and adapt global marketing assets for regional use, ensuring messaging relevance and effectiveness.
Performance & Analytics
- Track and report on campaign performance, audience engagement, and competitive trends using analytics tools.
- Conduct regular competitor benchmarking and identify areas for optimization or innovation.
- Use data to inform recommendations and strategic shifts in campaign execution and esports targeting.
Pre-Requisites :
- 2+ years of experience in marketing and communications, project coordination, or related roles, with direct experience in Esports, preferred.
- Strong familiarity with the esports ecosystem across key titles (FPS, MOBA, mobile, and console).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work on time.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and content for different audiences and platforms.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using tools such as Excel, Google Analytics, and social media analytics platforms.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for esports events, conventions, and industry activations.
- Passion for gaming and esports with a desire to contribute to Razer’s continued leadership in the space
