We are seeking an innovative Global Learning Manager to participate in mapping out global learning solutions, connecting domestic programs, design and execute world-class learning initiatives for our global workforce. Must Have:
  • Design and implement a global learning framework segmented by business groups.
  • Craft and implement comprehensive global talent development programs aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct needs-analysis in partnership with HR and business leaders to identify skill gaps.
  • Continuously improve training content and methodologies by incorporating industry trends.
  • Build globally scalable leadership programs drawing from HQ’s established practices.
  • Design and implement an overseas leadership development framework.
  • Foster a continuous learning culture that strengthens leadership pipelines.
  • Project-manage end-to-end learning experiences, from needs assessment to delivery and evaluation.
  • Manage logistical coordination for training sessions, including facilitator scheduling and vendor management.
  • Establish KPIs and success metrics to measure program effectiveness and learner engagement.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership, continuously improving content and delivery.
  • Leverage data analytics and participant feedback to drive program enhancements.
  • Explore and integrate innovative learning technologies and platforms to scale development efforts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development, or Organizational Development.
  • Proven experience designing and deploying talent programs in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • High degree of intercultural competence and experience collaborating with teams across geographies.
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required for effective communication.

In this role, you will contribute in building organizational capability, strengthening our leadership pipeline, and fostering a culture of continuous learning. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and is passionate about developing people to achieve business results.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Design & Strategy

  • Design and implement a global learning framework segmented by business groups, ensuring alignment with HQ strategy, business-oriented deliverables and local market needs.
  • Craft and implement comprehensive global talent development programs (e.g., leadership development, onboarding, professional skills) that are directly aligned with Tencent's overseas business objectives.
  • Conduct needs-analysis in partnership with HR and business leaders to identify skill gaps and development priorities.
  • Continuously improve training content and methodologies by incorporating industry trends, adult learning principles, and best practices.

Leadership Development

  • Build globally scalable leadership programs by drawing from HQ’s established practices while tailoring content to diverse international contexts.
  • Design and implement an overseas leadership development framework that identifies and nurtures future leaders across multiple career stages (e.g., early-career, mid-career, senior), with tailored programs and pathways aligned to business group needs
  • Foster a continuous learning culture that strengthens leadership pipelines outside of HQ.

Program Execution & Management

  • Project-manage end-to-end learning experiences, from initial needs assessment to delivery and evaluation, for both in-person and virtual formats.
  • Manage logistical coordination for training sessions, including facilitator scheduling, vendor management, and participant communications.

Measurement & Innovation

  • Establish KPIs and success metrics to measure program effectiveness, learner engagement, and business impact.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership, continuously improving content and delivery methods based on feedback and outcomes.
  • Leverage data analytics and participant feedback to generate insights, drive program enhancements, and demonstrate value to stakeholders.
  • Explore and integrate innovative learning technologies and platforms to scale development efforts globally.

Who We Look For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development, or Organizational Development.
  • Proven experience designing and deploying talent programs in a global, matrixed organization; technology sector experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes on schedule.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • High degree of intercultural competence and experience collaborating with teams across different geographies.
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required to enables effective communication with international stakeholders and colleagues based in headquarters.
