Google Cloud Platform Data Consultant, Manager

PwC is seeking a Google Cloud Platform Data Consultant, Manager to design and develop robust data solutions, transform raw data into actionable insights, and drive business growth. The role involves leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques, developing predictive models, and creating data visualizations to solve complex business problems. As a leader, you will motivate, develop, and inspire team members, coach them, manage performance, and identify opportunities for the firm's success, while leading with integrity and embracing technology and innovation.

Must Have

• Leverage advanced technologies and techniques to design and develop robust data solutions.
• Transform raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making.
• Develop predictive models, conduct statistical analysis, and create data visualisations.
• Motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality.
• Coach, leverage team member’s unique strengths, and manage performance.
• Analyse and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system.
• Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.
• Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables.
• Experience in GCP (Google Cloud Platform) products such as Cloud BigQuery, Cloud DataFlow, Kubernetes, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Big Table and TensorFlow.
• Experience in delivering artifacts such as scripts (Python) and strong experience with SQL.
• Experience in building and optimizing large scale data pipeline systems.
• Experience in Big Data Analytic frameworks and query tools such as Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Impala.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra.
• Strong Data Warehousing experience building operational ETL or ELT pipelines and architecting Data Models or Layers for Analytics.

Those in data science and machine learning engineering at PwC will focus on leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to extract insights from large datasets and drive data-driven decision making. You will work on developing predictive models, conducting statistical analysis, and creating data visualisations to solve complex business problems.

You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team member’s unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. Demonstrates in-depth abilities and/or success in one or many of the following areas:

• Experience in GCP .Google Cloud Platform.Experience in Architecting and Designing solutions leveraging Google Cloud products such as Cloud BigQuery, Cloud DataFlow, Kubernetes, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Big Table and TensorFlow will be highly preferred.
• Experience in delivering artifacts such as scripts (Python), dataflow components Strong experience with SQL
• Experience in building and optimizing large scale data pipeline systems.
• Experience in Big Data Analytic frameworks and query tools such as Spark Hadoop Hive Impala etc.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB Cassandra.
• Good understanding of Big data design patterns and performance tuning.
• Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Azkaban Oozie etc.
• Strong Data Warehousing experience building operational ETL or ELT pipelines comprised of several sources and architecting Data Models or Layers for Analytics
• Experience with Migration of Workloads from on-prem/other public clouds to Google Cloud Platform.
• Preferred Qualifications: GCP Certification(s), Cloud Data Engineer
