Infineon is seeking a Data Automation Intern to join their team in Budapest. This role involves developing and maintaining Python scripts to automate Tableau dashboard extraction, creating workflows for scheduled exports, and designing templates for consistent reporting. The intern will also be responsible for documenting processes and creating engaging data visualizations. Ideal candidates are studying Computer Science, Data Science, or IT, possess proficiency in Python, and are familiar with ETL and data visualization tools.

Must Have

• Develop and maintain Python scripts for Tableau dashboard extraction

• Utilize Python libraries (e.g., pptx) for presentation creation
• Design templates for consistent report formatting
• Document workflows, scripts, and troubleshooting guidelines

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Python script development and maintenance: Automate the extraction of Tableau dashboards and export them into formats such as PowerPoint, PDF, or image files
• Workflow creation: Create automated workflows for scheduled dashboard exports, ensuring timely delivery to stakeholders
• Python library utilization: Use programs such as pptx or equivalent tools to programmatically create PowerPoint presentations containing Tableau visualizations
• Template design: Prepare designs and frameworks for consistent formatting and branding of exported reports
• Workflow documentation: Write and prepare scripts, processes, and troubleshooting guidelines
• Data visualization: Create visually engaging data visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Tableau for communication and reporting purposes

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Education: Are studying Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Eagerness to learn: Have a strong interest in data automation and data visualization
• Programming skills: Have proficiency in programming languages such as Python
• Technical skills: Are familiar with ETL tools and techniques, as well as data visualization tools for communication and reporting purposes
• Soft skills: Have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with an interest in contributing to digital communication initiatives
• Languages: Are fluent in English, Hungarian would be a plus
• Experience: Previous internship or project experience related to data automation or Python development would be an advantage
