The Growth Region Sales Leader IGT Devices will lead the IGT-D business unit across Growth Region (APAC, Japan, RCA, ISC, META, LATAM), driving revenue, margin, and service growth while shaping the strategic direction. This role involves heading commercial partnerships, operationalizing sales strategy, managing a complex product portfolio, generating new leads, directing sales operations, building client relationships, driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance, and leading talent management and budget planning. The role requires extensive leadership experience in healthcare medical devices.
Must have:
  • Lead IGT-D business unit across Growth Region (APAC, Japan, RCA, ISC, META, LATAM)

  • Shape strategic direction of the business

  • Review and operationalize sales strategy and plan, including AOP execution
  • Lead a complex product portfolio by improving sales and margins
  • Lead development and execution of strategies to generate new leads
  • Direct and control sales operations within a function or region
  • Ensure optimal organizational structure to achieve sales objectives
  • Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement by applying LEAN principles
  • Ensure compliance performance within the designated market
  • Lead succession planning and comprehensive talent management
  • Drive budget planning and P&L management
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales, commercial partnerships, or business development
  • At least 5 years of people leadership responsibility
  • Proven track record in P&L ownership
  • Deep knowledge of the Healthcare Medical Devices market (preference to Class III Implantable Devices)
  • Commercial leadership experience with proven results in the Growth Region
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and ability to influence at all levels
  • Demonstrated success at developing and communicating a clear strategic vision and effectively executing that vision
  • Prepared to travel about 35% of the time
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Sales, Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum 11 years of experience with Bachelor's or Minimum 9 years of experience with Master's in relevant areas

The Growth Region Sales Leader IGT Devices (IGT-D) will lead the IGT-D business unit across Growth Region (APAC, Japan, RCA, ISC, META, LATAM), driving revenue, margin, and service growth while shaping the strategic direction of the business. Your leadership will directly influence market share growth, customer satisfaction, and the success of new product launches in critical healthcare technology segments. The role can be located in any of the Philips hubs in the Growth Region (APAC, Japan, RCA, ISC, META, LATAM).

Your role:

The Growth Region Sales Leader IGT-D will shape a high-impact business at a multi-continentals’ scale, develop advanced leadership capabilities, and influence healthcare innovations across Growth Region. This role offers exposure to executive-level decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and the chance to drive strategic growth in a competitive and evolving medical devices market.

  • Heads commercial partnerships with customers in a multiple countries or multiple markets, ensuring revenue growth, fostering strong customer relationships, and negotiating contracts to maximize market share and profitability.
  • Reviews and operationalizes the sales strategy and plan, including sales forecasts and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) execution, to drive revenue growth, optimize market opportunities, and consistently achieve sales targets.
  • Leads a complex product portfolio by improving sales and margins with existing direct and indirect customers, identifies new customers within the defined strategy, and expanding business opportunities to drive growth and strategic objectives.
  • Leads the development and execution of strategies to generate new leads, enhance market reach, and expand the customer base, focusing on identifying growth opportunities, optimizing lead generation channels, and driving customer acquisition.
  • Directs and controls sales operations within a function or region, leveraging deep expertise in sales strategies, market dynamics, and organizational objectives to drive revenue growth and optimize sales performance.
  • Ensures the optimal organizational structure to achieve sales objectives, manages talent pipelines, develops team capabilities and optimizes sales operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Builds strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders by actively engaging in regular communication, understanding their needs and expectations, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Drives continuous improvement by applying LEAN principles to enhance Market to Order processes and spearheads customer satisfaction initiatives to boost client retention and loyalty.
  • Ensures compliance performance within the designated market, addresses compliance issues, and oversees quality and regulatory functions to provide accurate and timely information for management review.
  • Leads succession planning and comprehensive talent management, driving employee selection, performance management, compensation management, and career development in alignment with organizational operational goals.
  • Drives budget planning and P&L management to optimize profitability and enhance financial performance.

You're the right fit if you bring:

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales, commercial partnerships, or business development across multiple countries/markets, with at least 5 years of people leadership responsibility;
  • Proven track record in P&L ownership, driving sustainable revenue growth, and expanding market share in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Deep knowledge of the Healthcare Medical Devices market is a must, with a strong preference to Class III Implantable Devices;
  • Commercial leadership experience with proven results in the Growth Region (APAC, Japan, RCA, ISC, META, LATAM)_;
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and ability to influence at all levels of the organization;
  • Demonstrated success at developing and communicating a clear strategic vision and effectively executing that vision;
  • Prepared to travel about 35% of the time.

Minimum required Education:

Bachelor's/ Master's Degree Business Administration, Project Management, Sales, Marketing or equivalent.

Minimum required Experience:

Minimum 11 years of experience with Bachelor's or Minimum 9 years of experience with Master's in areas such as Sales, Marketing, Business Development, E-commerce, Marketing technology, Healthcare or equivalent.
