Role Overview
GlobalStep is seeking a visionary Head of Global Marketing to lead our global marketing strategy in the fast-paced video game services industry. Reporting to the CEO, you will define and execute GlobalStep’s global marketing strategy, driving brand visibility, customer engagement, and growth across our eight service lines in seven countries.
This high-impact role offers the opportunity to shape GlobalStep’s global presence and tell our brand story to the world’s leading game developers and publishers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive brand awareness and enhance GlobalStep’s value with new and existing customers.
- Shape compelling messaging, content, and thought leadership for key audiences, including ideal customer profiles (ICP) and industry stakeholders.
- Serve as a brand evangelist, engaging influencers and industry leaders.
- Oversee creation of marketing content, ensuring consistent brand tone, voice, and imagery.
- Lead customer-centric campaigns for global clients like Sony, Microsoft, and EA.
- Define and implement global marketing strategy, including budget management, team development, and agency partnerships.
- Lead the marketing function with a focus on brand positioning, customer journey mapping, and content creation.
- Map customer journeys and align marketing initiatives with sales, delivery, and executive leadership to drive measurable results.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to refine positioning and capitalize on industry trends.
- Build and scale a high-performing global marketing team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Industry Expertise: Proven experience in the games industry required; B2B marketing experience a plus.
- Experience: 10+ years in brand and content marketing, with a track record of driving growth and innovation.
- Brand & Strategic Leadership: Deep understanding of marketing strategy, including customer segmentation, brand architecture, identity, and competitive positioning.
- Education: Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, or related field required; MBA a plus.
- Innovative Thinking: Ability to combine data-driven insights with creative vision to deliver impactful multi-channel campaigns.
- Global Leadership: Experience building and scaling international marketing teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and results.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong communication and partnership skills with sales, delivery, and executive leadership teams.
- Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal skills, including high-impact presentations for senior leaders.
- Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments with evolving business priorities.
